The sound of my alarm wakes me up at 6:30 am, i crack my eyes open to the sunshine beaming through my curtains and into my tired eyes. I rub my eyes and stretch before taking my bedsheets off of me and getting out of bed.
I take my time in the shower, letting the hot water warm my skin and wake me up. Afterwards i do my regular skin care routine and brush my teeth. I apply some neutral makeup along with a cute outfit :) and not gonna lie i thought i looked good. Today i wanted to make a good impression.

Checking twice i made sure i had everything before heading downstairs.
"Heyyyy look who's up" my dad smiles "Yea it just took me awhile to get ready" i laugh "Well sit down honey, i made banana nut bread just for you" "Mom you really didn't have to" i smile "But i did because i know you love it" "Mom i really appreciate it but I'm actually gonna head out early because I'm going to check into the office and get a tour" i kiss both my parents on the cheek before leaving

Walking into the perfectly clear glass doors to Western High, i can feel eyes on me at every corner. I would say i didn't like it but to be honest the attention just made me more confident. I was sure I'd be the talk of the school by the end of the day by the looks i got from multiple groups of kids though.
After finding my way to the office i sat down waiting to sign in. "Hello how may i help you?" The secretary says waving me over smiling brightly "Hi i am new and i was wondering if i could get my class schedule?" "Yea of course, i just need your name and date of birth" she stated happily "Um Riley Jordan and 8/8/02" i said nervously fiddling with my hands "Alrighty here you go" she smiles, "also do you want a tour of the school?" "yea that would be great" "Ok Riley, this is Lauren, and she has the same class schedule as you and she'll be happy to point you in the right direction" she directs my attention to a blonde girl sitting behind her desk
"Hi, my name is Lauren Dallas and I'm going to be showing you around today since we have all our classes together" she smiles "Thanks" i just smile back "So where did you move here from?" "Arizona" "Really? Wow i love Arizona" she says "Yea i did too" i look down at my feet "Well I'm sure you will love it here too" she smiles "Yea I'm hoping so..." i get cut off when a girl comes into our conversation "HEYY BITCH" a girl yells at Lauren "HEYY HOE" she screams back hugging her tightly "Soooo Morgan, this is Riley, she just moved here from Arizona" "Oh my god it's so nice to meet you" she smiles at me, "girl you're literally so fucking gorgeous" she says looking at my facial features "Aww thanks" i say, flicking my hair jokingly "Ohhh Damn girl you're spicy too" we all laugh together until we almost are crying
