Chapter 12

~1 Year~

Kelly held the small toddler as she was growing every day. They made her a blanket with her name on it so she had a blanket. It was the nurse who did it for her, the nurse had been the only Human person to help them.

Kelly was playing with Kira as she was making giggling noises as they played, kelly was enjoying this as much we she could, each day that goes by she knew that once she turned 3 they'd take her away from her Kira got up and grabbed a book coming back holding it to Kelly. Kelly smiled as she took the book

"Someone want a story?" Kelly asked as kira nodded sitting in front of her mother looking up at her "alright" Kelly began to read to her daughter

~2 years~

Kelly had a chance to escape but she knew escaping would have done nothing. They would have hunted her down and found out the place where their hide out is, plus she couldn't get far with a child since how young kira was. She couldn't make it far without kira needing to be carried if she got left behind since she can't go far

Kelly lifted her head hearing someone come into the cell she was in. Kira was down for a nap, it was the nurse

"Are you and kira doing alright?" The nurse asked

"Yeah.. We're fine don't worry about us, I'm sure they're are other inmates that could use your help besides us" Kelly said as she looked

"I helped you save your baby, I'm going to come in and see how you are doing, I want to make sure you are okay mentally and physically"

"I am fine, please don't make this situation any worse then it has to be, I don't want to lose my child I don't" Kelly said

"I know and I understand but I just like to make sure you are okay here and if you need anything" the nurse said

"I don't need anything, I am fine. just go away please" Kelly said

~3 Years~

Kelly held Kira close as she had tears not wanting to let her go.

"Kelly give us the child! You can't keep hold of her forever!" One guard yelled

"I won't let you take my baby! I love her to much to see her go, I don't want anyone taking her from me and I don't want her to be apart of your horrible plan!" Kelly yelled

"Mwommy what's going on?" Kira asked having tears

"Mommy loves you so much Kira, don't ever forget that okay? Mommy will find you, mommy will always be with yo-" Kelly groans and she felt major pain as bullets hit her back. She collapsed to the ground

"Mwommy!!" Kira cried out as she looked as guards came over grabbing her "mwommy! Mwommy!" Kira cried out trying to reach for Kelly

Kelly slowly opened her eyes looking up at her daughter as guards walked away with her "ki-kira....." She tried to reach for her daughter

The nurse came rushing over trying to help Kelly out as she gave her some pain killers to her and began to remove the bullets and sewing her up.

"N-no...." Kelly cried out "k-kira!"
