Optimus followed Prowl into the room.

"How long has she been repeating his name?" Prowl asked Ratchet.

"She's been mumbling to herself for a few minutes now... I didn't think she was saying someone's name," Ratchet replied.

"She's calling for him..." Prowl said.

"Who is she calling for?" Optimus asked.

"Soundwave..." Prowl said darkly. "Look at the Decepticon insignia on her... and her resemblance to Soundwave's cassetticons..."

"Prowl, whatever it is you're trying to say, I really don't have time for it! I'm losing Alice and I need to work on stabilizing her so IF YOU DONT MIND, LEAVE!!" Ratchet said and dragged the black and white Praxian to the door.

"But Ratchet!" Prowl said rapidly so Ratchet could hear before he got thrown out, "if we can figure out why Alice is Cybertonian then maybe it will lead to how we can HELP her!"

Ratchet tossed him out of the room and slammed the door shut. He raced back to Alice and hooked her up to a life support system.

"Jee Ratch', go easy on him. He's just tryin' to help..." Wheeljack said fixing a monitor so it would notify them if Alice's condition got worse.

"And Prowl has a point. We need to learn more of why this happened to Alice," Optimus reasoned with the strained medic.

Ratchet sighed. "I... I know... it's just... well Alice has been with us for a long time and... now we're losing her. I need to focus on helping her," Ratchet said looking down at Alice's little Cybertronian form.

Optimus put a servo on Ratchet's shoulder. "We all want to help Alice," he said.

~in the Decepticon underwater base~

Soundwave quietly typed on a computer in the dark Decepticon base. He stayed focused until something caught his attention.

A beeping red dot flashed on the glass pane in his chest. Soundwave looked down at it and shut it off, dismissing it as just a malfunction. He went about his work but curiosity got the better of his usually professional processor.

Soundwave plugged a thin wire into his internal computers and downloaded the data for any notification or warning that may have come up. The the flashing dot could have been something important, it had to have had a purpose for Soundwave to have programmed it to occur?

The files downloaded and Soundwave opened another tab to continue his work in the mean time.

~Some time later~

A small beep came from the computer signaling that the download had completed.

Soundwave walked into the room to the computer. He dragged his feet, his mood down and more depressed than usual. The Stunticons had failed their mission and Megatron took it out on Soundwave since he couldn't think of anyone else to blame because Starscream wasn't present at the time.

Soundwave checked his download hoping for at least some good news...
The files came up as complex schematics. They were detailed... very detailed. Soundwave looked them over more closely thinking that he may have stumbled upon some old rendering of Rumble or Frenzy.

He looked at the schematics and they didn't line up with his theory though... they were the plans for a Femme cassetticon.

Soundwave felt a pain in his spark he hadn't felt in a long time when he read the name that titled the documents.

"SHOCK."

(Whew! I updated!! Yay!

The chapter was short... yes... I'm sorry. Hopefully I can write longer chapters in the future.
