"I can't believe this" Khushi whispered as she sat on a chair on the poolside. Arnav sat next to her and said nodding, "Even I found it hard to believe"

"How could she? What does she want? And all these years...she was faking her love!" Khushi whispered.

Arnav hummed.

"We should tell this to everyone" Khushi said.

"No. Not until we trap her. And today's the day for that" Arnav said, "Ivan and NK are watching those men for me. Police are here under disguise. And Aman is out there in another disguise!"

"Aman is here?" Khushi gasped.

Arnav nodded, "Don't mention it to di. Save it for later"

Khushi nodded.

"And there's the birthday boy!" Akash said chuckling watching Arnav and Khushi walking inside the party. Arnav rolled his eyes as Akash walked to him, "Everyone are eager to meet you"

"I met everyone" Arnav said sighing.

"Well they want to meet you again" Akash said chuckling.

"I hate socializing" Arnav muttered under his breath and then smiled widely when someone, his client, approached him.

"You have changed your clothes" Khushi said chuckling looking at Akash. "That boy" Akash muttered, "He's growing naughtier day by day!"

Khushi laughed and her eyes fell on the man standing near the bar. She recalled Arnav's description about the three men she had hired and therefore looked away, not to grab their attention.

Arnav shook hands with the clients and then walked back to Khushi who was standing with Akash.

"What happened?" he asked slowly.

"I feel.....something bad is gonna happen" she whispered. This bad feeling had gotten into her only once in her lifetime and that was on her marriage day, when her bangles broke. And she was right. That day was indeed the worse day of her life.

"Nothing will go wrong. NK, Aman and Ivan are here!" Arnav whispered assuring her, "And we have police"

Khushi shook her head negatively and said slowly, "No Arnav ji, something bad is gonna happen. I don't what and how but I feel it. Please..." she clutched his arm, "Please take care"

Arnav nodded and wrapped is arm around her waist, "Everything will be all right" he whispered.

"Arrey romance in the middle of a party? Not bad chotte" Anjali said loudly and the guests around them chuckled. Khushi pulled away embarrassed and Arnav rolled his eyes at his sister.

"Drinks sir?" a waiter came to them with a tray of drinks and Khushi took a close look at his face. She gasped seeing his face under the cap, "Aman" she whispered.

"Hush" Arnav whispered and he took the drink from Aman, "What is it?"

"The man standing near the bar" Aman whispered, "He has a gun"

Khushi gulped down the drink and looked at Arnav worried. "Khushi look away. He might be looking at us and get suspicious. And Arnav talk to me as if you're scolding me for bringing the wrong drink" Aman whispered.

Khushi kept the glass down on the tray and clutched Arnav's arm who started shouting at Aman. She patted his arm as if trying to control Arnav and Aman smiled under his cap.

"Now go get me the right drink" Arnav said angrily and slammed the glass on the tray. "Yes sir" Aman said holding back his laughter and walked away.

"Gun" Khushi whispered. Arnav nodded and took out his mobile. He sent out a message and Khushi craned her neck, "Who are you texting?"

"Police" he murmured.

The party was almost over and Arnav and Khushi smiled at people who shook their hands and started to take leave.

Anjali walked to them and said smiling, "It was a great party right?" They nodded and Anjali hugged Khushi, "Thank you Khushi ji. This party lifted up my mind from Aman's missing. Although it was for a few hours, it definitely relaxed me"

Khushi nodded and Arnav looked at Aman who was watching them from the drinks section.

"I know di" Khushi said softly, "This party was necessary for all of us."

"I hope he is fine" Anjali whispered, "It's been a week. We don't know where he is...how he is....he can't just leave me like that"

Khushi hugged her and said softly, "He will be fine!"

Arnav shook his head at Aman who just wanted to rush to Anjali. Aman sighed and looked away as Khushi consoled Anjali.

Some guests were around and Ivan frowned noticing that the three men she had hired have also left. He walked to Arnav and took him aside. "They left" he said.

"Left?" he asked and Ivan nodded, "Police have gone behind them"

Arnav nodded frowning, "But then what was the whole point of bringing those three men to the party? For dinner?"

Ivan shrugged.

NK was standing near the door when his phone rang.

"Ha inspector saab" he said.

"NK we're following two of those men. Have an eye on the third. The one with the gun."

"Third?" NK asked shocked, "But all three of them left!"

"What? No! Only two of them have crossed the gates of RM. The third one is still there! Can't you see him? Damn, I told you all to keep an eye on them!"

"Shit! Let me see!" NK looked around the hall and found no trace of the man. "Fuck" he cursed and cut the call. He rushed to Ivan and Arnav. "He is still here! The man with the gun"

"Where?" Ivan asked shocked.

"I don't know. Find him!" NK whispered.

"Arnav you stay here. We'll check" Ivan said, "Stay right here. We have Aman on watch!" he craned his neck to Aman and signalled him to Arnav. Aman understood and nodded his head.

Ivan and NK rushed to the stairs of living room and was about to climb it when a life taking sound boomed in the mansion. And if they hadn't heard it wrong, it was a gunshot!

Ivan froze and NK felt his limbs numb as both of them stared at each other. They could hear Khushi's and Anjali's scream.

And before they could turn they heard another gunshot.
