8.PIRATE CITY

^how pirate city looks when they arrive .

As expected the next morning I was met by the young princess at the door along with a pendant to protect us .

" so what's your name ?" I ask her as she puts on the necklace . " my names Melanie . But you can call me Mel ." She says . She smiles at me letting me know we're friends . We stare at the portal. " you know once we cross this you will be in lots of adventures along with dangers . Your kingdom was peaceful but others may not be . There are going to be strong people and monsters we will have to face . Even the 5 major continents will someday be against us you know . " I say giving her a warning .

" you know . I've always felt trapped even in my own home . That's when I realized I wasn't home . I was born to adventure out into the world like my father . My mother did not let me because my father died in an accident when he was on a mission however I still want to go out and meet the world . So I'm ready when you are !" She yelled . Her eyes where sparkling with determination and I couldn't help but smile . I grab her hand and pass through the portal with her .

Hours later were at a regular city . Mel looks at everything with puppy dog eyes . I made her hid her wings because of the dangers out in this world . Just like me she can hide them . As we walk and Mel look at everything cheerfully I ask " how old are you Mel ?" I ask .

" well actually I'm 1,300 years old ! But in human age I would be around 9" she says . My mouth almost dropped . " you fairies have it lucky for being able to live long ." I say . " don't pure bloods age just as slow as fairies though ?" She asks as she tilts her head .

Wait . It's been a year and I haven't grown an inch since I've turned into a pure blood ? Does that mean I'll age slowly too ? Does that give me more time to also take over the world ?!

" what wrong angel ?" Mel asks . I shake my head and smile at her . " out next destination is were all merchants wish they could go. There is a myth of a city called pirate city . There the king of pirates gives his orders . If I make a deal with him he won't attack my ships and I'll be able to trade without worry's . For hundreds of years many ships of all kinds have been robbed . In any kind of transportation and they have never been found . So today we will be going with a very famous ship with thousands of gold that will be imported to a certain deck in the paladins . The puritans are greedy and only go for ships with a good things . So we have to sneak in . " I say . Mel blinks many times . " aren't we supposed to go capture Taurus though ?!"She whispers highly in my ear.

" yea but he is at the top of the labyrinth of magic so we have to be stronger . Even the best of hunters aren't able to come out of there alive ." I say . We walk over to the people loading the deck .

" Mel I know you can use the rare illusion magic . Use it on him to make him think we're helping him put them on the ship . " I say .

Not long after both me and Mel are in a big box that use to hold rice . " this one isn't heavy at all ." A person says outside . " just put it over there the ships leaving soon !" He says .

Me and Mel look at each other in the box . Because we are both small we fit nicely with a little extra space . I smile at her .

" when are you planning to return home ?" Mel asks . " I have to enter the academy by the age of 12 and I told my parents I would be back before that so I have 6 years to travel the world . " I tell her .

" what will I do when you enter the school ?" She asks concerned . " of course you'll join with me. It's a prestigious school were all kinds of people go to . Elves , humans , demons , and the skylins." I say .

" do you like anybody ? You know your really pretty ." She says with a smile . However I frown " in this lie I don't think I'll ever find love because it will only lead to my destruction " I say while looking down . Mel looks at me confused and was about to comfort me when screams where heard . I smirk and at Mel and nod letting her know the pirates are here .

If I cannot make a deal with the pirates I'll just have to crumble down their kingdom along with their economy . You wonder how I'm going to do that ? Well pirates are stingy and only care about money and spending money . While I try talking to the pirate king Mel will sneak in the vault with her illusion magic . We've trained for this for the past week while the ships was being brought here .her illusion magic will make the people around me think I'm a demon cursing women . And if he betrays me a curse will fall on them .

I smirk as I know this is ganna be fun . Not before long I feel myself and Mel be carried into another ship . " you ready Mel ?" I whisper . She nods with a determined looks . Mel is actually quite nice . Her attributes are nature , illusion , and invisibility which are very helpful . She's great to have around especially for things like these .

After a day on the boat I feel us being carried onto ground I wink at Mel letting her know to take action . With her illusion magic to everyone it looked like the box broke and I was a comrade . She then used invisibility on herself and began searching for the treasure . I have her two space rings just Incase everything didn't fit . Pirates are known for their treasures . I'm quite excited to see what they have . I walk over to a man " we're captain ?" I ask .

He laughs and his crooked teeth shine because of the moon " obviously he in da bar "he says as he pats my back . I walk away and look around for the bar . I have to win time for Mel so I can't get myself caught . Pirates are human and can't use magic but if he is the pirate king there must be something special about him that makes the others listen . I walk until I find a bar.

' THE BARREL' the sign on top reads I sigh and walk in . There I see a man drinking his life away . He's tall and fit with no eyepatch to my surprise. His blue hair glistened and his red eyes made me uncomfortable. At each side was a woman who also seemed to be pirates .
I walk over to him and smirk slowly letting the illusion magic fade before his eyes . Soon enough I turn into my Scorpio form with big red curly pigtails and shirt but petite figure with laces as clothes . " mr pirate king I've come to negotiate." I say with a smirk .

He looks at me up and down . "What's a kid doing here . Scram " He says as he uses the bottles to point at the exit . I look at him seriously . " I've come to negotiate if you turn me away you will regret it pirate king"I say in a low tone letting him know I'm being serious . He pushes both women off and looks at me in the eyes . " your just a kid like you can do anything to me ?" He smirks .

I guess my time to play around with this little man will start . I smirk " if you don't wish to negotiate I will ruin you along with your legacy " I say while laughing making him uncomfortable.

" listen brat I don't care how you snuck on or if you want to join us this is no place for you now leave ." He says as he scratches his head . I blink and sigh " if I have to leave then I just have to burn this entire place with me ." I whisper . He notices my deathly tone and stands . I laugh as I though the couch he was on lighting it on fire . I sit on it while it burns not caring for the fire " pirate king. This is your last opportunity negotiate with me or I'll ruin you " I threaten him I say as I cross my legs .

He points a finger at me and out of it comes water . However his water was weak not even turning a little bit of my fire off . He steps back noticing my flames are too strong . " who are you ?! And why is a child like you so strong ?" He yells as his eyebrows furrow in .
