Those harsh words

That I have heard

Are stabbing me

My blood flowing, free

I can’t believe

The coldness you can achieve

I can’t take it all

My tears, fall

Who you, now, are

Is just so fetching far

From the man you once were

My visions, blur

Iciness in its wake

All over I ache

No more of this can I take

My heart, breaks

Such immense pain

Making me insane

Inside I’m dying

My hands, shaking

Like a knife

Piercing my life

I’m now sobbing

My head, throbbing

With you dark eyes

Looking into mine

As a parting sign

My hopes, die

You mouth twitched to a sneer

Exactly what I fear

That cruel glint

My body, flinch

You turned away

As I watched in dismay

And softly mourn

My soul, torn

Your retreating figure

Is a depressing trigger

For I started shivering

My knees, quivering

The hurt in galore

I fell to the cold floor

Feeling so hollow

My breaths, shallow
