Starry Night

Sitting on a cliff
Beneath a sky full of stars
Call it a moment of it's own
Or whatever you may
But it's indeed is one of those beauties
Over which poets have spilled ink
And clichès  have come to life
But I am no poet
And my fictional people
Are better of without
Another fairy tale
So for the time being
It's just me and my thoughts
Having a time of our lives
Reminiscing the good ole days
That bring a smile to my face
The dead poet inside of me
Tries to comprehend it's beauty
But no words could fathom
The charm of the scene
I have a lot to think about
And it's going to be a long night
With lots of self contemplation
Yet somehow , at this moment
Everything I did feels totally worth it
A few years down the road
I might not be the person I am now
I might not achieve my dreams
But deep down I know that
It's a night I will never forget
How everything was just perfect
As I laid down under a
Starry, starry night
