Chapter 4

Today was Jessica's trial Clay, Alex and Tony went.

I was in dance class alone since they were all on a field trip and I didn't want to go to class.

Hannah and I met when she walked in on me as I practice my dance piece.

I was doing my spins as the doors opened.

I stopped to see a girl with long curly hair backpack strung over her shoulder.

"Hi." I said.

"Sorry, I was looking for Mrs Barry's room." She said.

"That's upstairs... I'm Bree, Bree Walker." I said holding out my hand.

"Hannah, Hannah Baker."

"You must be new, did you just move here?" I asked.

"Yeah, I did. Can you show me how to do that?"

"Of course." I said with a smile.

After that we were best friends after that.

"Can you give me a dance when we're alone?" I looked up to see Zach.

"Do you deserve it?" I asked.

"Yes." He said.

I smiled going over to press my lips onto his.

He kissed back wrapping his arms around my waist.

"You doing anything after school?" Zach asked once he pulled away.

"Nope. Just going to go home, did you want to do something?"

"Yeah, May misses you and wants you to come over." Zach said.

"And let me guess, your mom will be out of town and May will be leaving a little bit later for a sleepover." I said.

"Yes. But she really does miss you, and I don't like being alone plus we can watch movies and cuddle on the couch."

"I'll come over but right now I need to practice and you have class." I said.

I kissed his cheek before kicking his butt out of the studio.

The morning went by slowly but now it was lunch time, and I was starving.

I went and grabbed my lunch going over to a table where Chloe sat alone, probably waiting for Bryce and the boys.

"Hey." I said as I slid in in front of her.

"Hey. You must be hungry." She said pointing at my tray.

"Very. Zach's rubbing off on me." I said as she laughed.

"What's so funny?" Bryce asked as he sat down beside Chloe.

Monte and Scott sat on top of the table with bagged lunch.

"Just girl stuff." Chloe said as I nodded.

"Hey beautiful." I looked up to see Zach a full tray of food bigger then mine.

"Hey." I said kissing his cheek before opening my fruit salad.
