boy next door pt. 2

I'm putting a little make-up on for tonight but keep it simple and naturel. After I curled my hair, I spray some parfum on my neck and now I'm ready to go.
I don't know why, but somewhere I got this really excited feeling inside me. Not because I'll see my new city Toronto, but because I'll spend the whole evening with Shawn.
I'm going downstairs I see it's almost 8 pm.
'Well well well... I can't believe my daughter looks this beautiful.' my mom first says with a big smile on her face when I walk into the living room.
'Mommm, it's nothing. He'll just show me the city.' I respond back.
'Who's "he"?' my dad asks while he sips some coffee out of his cup.
'Shawn. The son of the neighbors.' my mom answers his question.
'Ohhhh... him!!! Nice boy. Also really gentle. He helped me with packing out the boxes when we moved in here.' he tells.
I smile at the thought of him. Just him. I don't know what it is but I've just met him once and I feel good around him.

As the doorbell rings I immediatly walk to the front door. I open it and see Shawn standing outside with a smile. He looks so good.
'Ready to see your new city?' is the first thing he says still smiling.
I nod with a smile and put my jacket on. Ready to go.
'We can go with my car.' he says as we're walking to the trottoit.
Hold on a second... he has an own car?!
'Okay, alright then!' I answer back, acting it all cool.
As we're in the car, I ask Shawn where we're going.
'Sooo... there's a lot of new movies in cinema so I thought maybe we could go there first. The cinema is also in the city. And then later if it's not getting late, I wanna show you something really beautiful.' he tells.
'Now I'm really curious! It sounds fun.' I answer smiling.
He smiles back.

'I'M NEVER... GOING TO WATCH THAT MOVIE AGAIN.' I say almost yelling with big eyes while we walk together out of the cinema building.
He starts laughing.
'Next time I choose no horror movie.' he says laughing. I smile and roll my eyes.
Shawn and I know each other a lot better now. And Toronto is so beautiful, especially in the evening. The city is nicely lit with little lights.
As soon as Shawn grabs my hand I get immediately a warm feeling inside. I smile.
'And? What time is it? Is there enough time left for you showing whatever you got planned?' I ask curiously. He looks on his watch,
'It's over 10pm, we have time yes. Let's get in the car. It's a few minutes away from here.' he says.
We get together into the car and he drives us to the destination I don't know.

'We're here.' he finally says after ten minutes riding.
'That was fast.' I answer back.
We both get out of the car. All I see are trees and it is all darkness.
'Uhhh...' I first say, looking around. Doubting if I should actually do this.
'Shawn, I don't think this is safe. It's very dark here and..' I say but he immediately cuts me off.
'Don't worry! I know this place. It's a little minute walking.' he says trying me not to worry. He grabs my hand smiling and pulls me into the forest with him.

I stop walking and try to pull myself back but Shawn still holds my hand.
'Victoria, I mean it. Don't worry. I know this looks creepy but what I wanna show you is so beautiful. You won't regret it.' he says holding my hand with both of his hands now.
I look at him for a few seconds quietly.
'Do you trust me?' he asks. I stay quiet again. I finally nod. He gives me one of his cute little smiles and we continue walking again.

{Shawn's POV}
I am completely nervous right now.
I hope I'm not showing that to Victoria. She looks so beautiful, and I'm about to show her the entire city town from the top of this mountain near the city. She will love this, I know that. Victoria is the first girl I'll ever bring to this beautiful place.
I don't know what it is but she gives me such a good feeling.

'Vic, this is it. We're here.' I finally say after a few minutes walking.

{Victoria's POV}
'We're here.' he finally says.
I look around for a second til I realize where he brought me at.
This...is...WONDERFUL.
I see the entire city from up here. Shawn was right, this is indeed really beautiful. All the little lights you see from up here, and the stars in the dark sky.
'OhmyGod.. SHAWN!' I say shook.
He start smiling again.
'I knew you were gonna like this,
I mean who doesn't?!' he response.
I smile at him and he immediately smiles back.
Honestly can't believe I was yesterday in Miami and now I'm standing here with the boy next door at the top of this mountain, sight over Toronto.
I keep looking at this sight for a few seconds.
'Thank you Shawn.' I say with a little smile while I look at him.
'Thank you for what?' he asks.
'This night! I know you now for only a few hours but this feels great.
It was really fun.' I tell him. I see a smile appearing on his face.
'No, thank YOU.' he says smiling back.
We stand there for a while. When it gets colder he puts his jacket off and put it over me. I smile at him as sign for "thank you".

While we walk back to the car we talk about a lot of stuff.
'So... do you already know what school you're going here? After the weekend?' he asks.
'My mom only told the school name. I don't know anything else. It's called Notre Dame High School.' I tell him.
'NO WAY! Seriously?!' he says shook and let my hand loose.
'Yea, why?'
'That's my school! I can show you everything there.' he says happy.
When he tells me this, it feels like my heart is jumping right now. I'm so happy.
'Omg, really?! Now I gladly know already someone at school!' I say smiling. He nods smiling.

{Shawn's POV}
Words cannot describe how happy I am when I heard Vic is also on the same school as mine.
When we arrive at the car we both get in.
'What time is it?' she asks while she puts her seatbelt on. I look on my watch and see it's almost 11.30pm.
'Almost half past eleven.' I answer.
She gasp.
'I really need to go home now. My mom is gonna kill me.' she says. I nod understanding and start immediately the car.
I drive us fast home.

{Victoria's POV}
After 20 minutes riding we arrive at home. Shawn parked his car and we both get out. He walks with me at the front door and I turn myself to him to face him.
'Again, thank you so much for this night. Toronto is beautiful, especially at night on the top of the mountain you showed me.' I thank him smiling.
'It was nothing, I really liked it to tonight.' he answers smiling back.
For a second we stare in each other's eyes. His brown hazel eyes are so beautiful.
While I keep staring he pushed his lips on mine. His big hand on my cheek and my hand in his soft hair.
We stand there for a few seconds like this.

'Goodnight Vic.' he whispers smiling, and with that he walks to his own house. I open the door and get in.
I go immediately to my room and let myself fall on the bed.
Did we just kissed?! I only know him a few hours.

I think this is where a new chapter of my life begins.
