Beep! Beep! My alarm clock sounded as it did Each day. It was the first day of school and the bus would be here at 7:15, but I still woke up at 5:30 a.m so I could get my morning run in. I rolled out of bed and slid on my slippers and headed out my bedroom door. I grabbed the small pan from the hall closet filled it with water and placed it on the stove. I opened the fridge and got an egg from the carton. When I run I need breakfast with protein, so an egg seemed suitable as it did each morning. I went into my room and threw on some old clothes and put my hair in a high ponytail. I slid on my sneakers and went and got my egg, peeled it, and ate it as fast is possible. An headed out the door. It was a clear morning and the sun was still rising. The air was crisp I start my Pace slow, since I was doing 7 miles rather then 3. When I ran I thought about how today was my first day of middle school. I was actually pretty nervous. I had trouble making friends (I did have friends though) because i was apparently really intimidating because I'm so tall, strong, and am a intense long-distance runner. Not to be bragging though. I'm just like that......intimidating.
