Irl: jugheads POV
I was walking to pops to clear my mind. It's been an hour since the text with Betty.
I was scared for Betty..James hurt so many girls back home.
One day he would be with a girl and the next day be with another and leaving the first one drowning in her own tears.
Poor Jessica
I roll my eyes as I think about his poor attempt as his so called love life.
I passed a bench but look back as I hear sobbing and sniffles
"Betty?" I realized that the sobbing girl was Betty.
The same Betty who I love and the same Betty who blocked my contact about an hour ago.
I sit down on the bench next to her asking her
What was wrong. For a reply she just fell on top of me hugging me.
I hesitate to hug her back but I do.
Soon enough the sobbing stoped and sniffles were heard.
I was stroking her hair in order to calm her down.
She just laid there. Crying. And I have no idea why.
Just then I remembered that she went on a date with James. He did this.
Well at least I think he did...
I look down as I hear the sniffling stop.
She fell asleep.
I sigh as I pick her up bridal style and carry her towards her house.
She wasn't heavy which was good because I have like noodle arms.
I knocked on the coopers door
Alice Cooper answered.
"Jughead? What are you doing-"
She stops mid-sentence as she realizes her daughter,sleeping,in my arms.
"I thought she was going on a date with a boy named James?"
She let me inside as she directed me to Betty's room.
"I-uh I don't know...I was walking to pops and she was crying on a bench and I asked her what happened but she just hugged me..and then fell asleep." I explained to mrs. Cooper what had happened as I put Betty in her bed as her mother took off bettys heals.
"Oh well thank you for taking her home.."
She looks at Betty and then back to me with a smile.
Mrs. Cooper never hated or diss liked me..well I don't think she did. She seamed okay with
Me.
I soon left the coopers house and headed home.
Ready to see what the hell happened between James and Betty.
