P.O.V Cortnee

I was all showered and dressed for my date with Luke. I was nervous. He told me he will knock at 7 to come get me. It was 7:10. What if he changed his mind?

I was sitting on my bed, scrolling through twitter. I was becoming impatient.  I tapped my feet on the floor and looked all around. Everything seemed to be annoying. I got and walked back and forth.

After doing everything I thought of, I turned my music on and maybe singing will entertain me. I started to sing stay the Night. I walked around as I sang the song.  I really can’t believe he isn’t here yet. I looked into the peep hole and no one in the hall.

I sang 3 songs, and then I just gave up. I pulled the covers over me and closed my eyes. I drifted to sleep with tears in my eyes.

P.O.V Luke

I was walking back and forth, nervous to go knock on her door. “Are you going now?” Mikey asked. “I am so nervous” I told him. I really didn’t know the time. “Well, better tell her that it’s off then.” He looked me at his laptop. “Why?” I stop and looked at him. “Its 7:20.” I was in complete shock. The hotel door opened and I turned to see who it was, I thought it would be Cortnee. It was Liam and Niall. “Hey,” Niall said. “Aren’t you supposed to be out with Cortnee?” Liam asked.

I nodded my head. “Then why are you here?” he looked a little pissed. “I panicked,” I admitted. Liam left the room and I followed. He used the key Cortnee gave me earlier. He opened the door and we both walked into the dark hotel room with a room quietly playing. Liam stop, and I walked up to and look at sleeping Cortnee.

She had her hair done perfectly and seemed to look dressed well. “Let’s go” he whispered. He walked out and waits out the door. I stood there looking at this beautiful girl. “Luke” he whispered. I looked at him and he was waving me out. I shook my head. “Yes, now” he pulled me out.

Everyone was in the hall. Harry and Niall were kicking around a soccer ball. Liam quietly shut the door. Louis was sitting down on the phone with someone. Zayn was skyping. Calum and Mikey were watching. They all seemed to be dressed for the pool.

I felt like shit. “You guys go have fun, I am going to bed.” I excused myself and laid in bed.

When I woke up the next morning it was about noon and I really needed to apologize to Cortnee. I pulled on some sweats and left room.  I knocked on her door. There was no noise from the other side. I walked down Liam and Niall's room and knocked. Niall answer, “Hey Luke” he must of just woke up. “Is Cortnee here?” I looked behind him. “No, why would she be here?” he was confused. “Well, I don’t know. Maybe Liam?” I thought she would go to Liam or something.

“No, Liam is still asleep. Don’t worry about her mate. You just met her.” He reminded me. But I felt like I knew her for years.  “Yeah,” I mumbled and went back to my room. Mikey was still sleeping. I sat on my bed.

I sat there for 30 minutes, when I realized I need to know she is okay. I went down stairs to the lobby. “Hey is room 340, still checked in?” I looked at the lady behind the counter. “No, she checked out.” Those words made my heart sink.

I heard laughter from behind me. The one direction boys were dressed for the pool. “Hey what’s wrong?” Liam asked. “She’s gone” I let out. “What do you mean she is gone?” he was confused. “She left. She is gone.” I made clear. “Where?” he asked. “If I knew I’d be there with her.” I tugged on my hair. “She couldn’t be far. Right?” He asked. “I don’t know.” I huffed off and left them in the lobby.
