I walk through the dimly lit alleyway
The moon is the only light source in the street except a tiny little lantern in a window.
Im walking
I dont know where
The weight of my rucksack is almost unbearable
Probally because of my skates.
Suddenly my phone rings.
I rummage through my pocket for my phone.
Sweet rappers
A friendship bracelet
Bingo!
Its mum
I swipe right anyway
"Hey", I say
"ᕼEY ᗩᑎᑎE ᗯᕼEᖇE ᗩᖇE YOᑌ?".
"Im at um-
I check the name of the alleyway
"Woodland road".
"ᕼOᑎEY ITᔕ ᑭᗩᔕT 9 YOᑌ ᔕᕼOᑌᒪᗪ ᗷE ᗷᗩᑕK!", mum says
She doesn't seem angry
I look at my watch
9:34
Oops
"sorry mum!", I say
"ITᔕ ᖴIᑎE. Iᗰ ᔕOᖇᖇY ᖴOᖇ ᗩᒪᒪ TᕼIᔕ ᖴᑌᔕᔕ. ᕼOᗯ ᗩᗷOᑌT TOᗰOᖇᖇOᗯ YOᑌ ᔕKIᑭ ᔕᑕᕼOOᒪ ᗩᑎᗪ ᑕOᗰE TO TOᗯᑎ ᗯITᕼ ᗰE?".
A smile appears on my face
The brightest thing in this street
"I would love that!", I say
"GᖇEᗩT! ᑎOᗯ ᔕTᗩY ᔕᗩᖴE Iᗰ ᑕOᗰIᑎG TO ᑭIᑕK YOᑌ ᑌᑭ".
