Shun Kazami x Reader (Bakugan)

Requested by I hope you enjoy this. Shun was my favorite too from Bakugan. His Bakugan was also one of my favorite out of the rest. Storm Skyress was a nicely designed creature.

The story takes place in an alternate universe where the battles are treated as sport and that there's a rep of each attribute. These characters from the original series are older, almost adult age. Considered celebs for their brawling and such.

Alright, let's get to the story now.

It was a special day. Today was the championship ball with the other bakugan brawlers that represent their bakugan attribute. Everyone was allowed to bring in their own entourage to also represent their attribute. However, there was one guest everyone was excited to see. That's the very handsome and alluring Shun Kazami, the face for all Ventus brawlers looked up to. Often seen to be calm and collected in his brawls as well as not a bad looking face to gaze at. However, there were rumors he had his eyes set on someone. Everyone was trying to take a guess on who it was/is, but every time he was in an interview about the topic Shun would always know how to turn the conversation away from the drama without anyone knowing.

I would know, I sit through all those interviews as I'm a close friend of his. Well, sort of. I'm a friend of Runo as well as a fellow Haos attribute brawler. I was recommended by Runo to Shun to help organize his schedule. Basically, sort of become an agent for him and make sure to keep an eye on him. Even though he's a rather organized guy on his own. I didn't see a real need for it, but Shun agreed about this idea as he could use more time focused on his battle strategy as he's trying to keep his title as one of the top brawlers. He couldn't really focus on it if he's managing his own schedule for the TV appearances and the many different tournaments he has to battle and host.

So here I am, in my home office staring at the many tabs of the schedule program, contracts, offers, and emails requesting Shun's appearance on their programs. Runo had invited me as one of her entourage for the Haos element. I was a bit hesitant about the invitation though. I know that I'm a friend of hers along with a Haos brawler, but this is a charity ball. What would my appearance benefit for the kids we were raising money for? I'm no where as well known as the other brawlers that are on the guest list for the event. The ball was going to be broadcasted to everyone interested in the brawling scene. There's a grantee that I wouldn't make much of an impression to the viewers if I showed up randomly onto the scene.

"Runo, I'm not so sure. Wouldn't you want one of your more popular Haos brawlers to come with you? I wouldn't bring much to the table for the charity."

"No way! You have to come, Liza! You are one of the best Haos brawlers I've seen. Besides, Shun will finally get to notice you seeing as you're still just an agent to him."

"Working for him and trying to get together with him are two different things. I have to keep things professional between us. Besides, you were the one that set up the job for me, remember?"

"I know, but I was hoping you'd probably get some points with Shun since you'd be hanging out together so much."

"Well, you forget that Shun is very focused on his work. And so am I. I still don't see how I showing up to the charity ball would help the situation. I have no place to be there for the charity event, nor do I have a dress to fit the event. Wasn't it you who proposed the event to be a masquerade theme? Specifically a costume masquerade? I can't afford an extravagant costume for it with having to pay vet bills for Yuumi."

"I know your kitty is important to you Liza, but this is a once in a life time chance! I'll take care of the costume and everything. You just got to come with me and I'll have it taken care of."
