Saving My Mate

Darius's POV
I was walking through the woods and came out into an opening.
I wiped my mouth from the animal's blood that covered it.
I straightened my clothes and walked onto the sidewalk like nothing happened.
With the help of my special hearing I heard faint screams of pain and I could smell a faint scent of strawberries and vanilla.
I followed it and as I got closer the scent and screams increased.
I used my speed and came to a house.
I knocked down the door and the house was covered with the delicious scent.
I followed the screams and scent and stopped at a door leading to a basement.
I could hear a girl's screams of pain and man's laughter.
I kicked the door open and ran down the stairs.
I saw a girl strapped to a table with a gun point heater in her stomach screaming in pain and the guy increased the heat.
I grabbed him and threw him into the wall.
I punched him until he was out cold.
I ran to the girl and turned it off.
I looked into her eyes and I saw it was her.
It was my mate
She looked me over and locked eyes with me.
She was beautiful.
She had long dark brown wavy waist length hair. She had light green eyes and heart shaped lips.
She was adorable.
She had baby like features and that added to her cuteness.
I looked her in the yes and saw curiosity, pain fear, and joy.
Her eyes closed and I knew she was exhausted.
I in strapped her and picked her up bridle style.
I walked upstairs and walked out if the house.
I used my super speed and ran to my house so the doctor could look at her.
I entered and Raelin and Damon rushed into the living room.
They saw her and knew it was her.
My mate.
They smiled but they soon faded when they saw she hurt and bloody.
I rushed to the clinic and went to Dr. Danvers office.
He took me to a room and pushed me out and soon got to work.

3 hours later
The doctor finally came out.
I shot up and rushed to him.
"Well she will be okay but she has lost a lot if blood. Also she may not be human. I don't know what she is but it is rare. She will lots of rest and she has medication by her bed. She has a slight concussion from the pain but she will recover quickly",  he explained.
I nodded.
I went to her room and opened the door and closed it softly.
I went to her bedside and sat in the comfortable bouncy chair.
I moved it wear I was right there.
I sat down and grabbed her hand.
I held it softly and just sat there with her.
I soon drifted off to sleep promising myself that I will never harm her or let anyone else harm her.
