Confusion and Surprise were only the few of the emotions i felt, i kept looking at The Dragon as she kept doing the same until she said with a smirk on her snout
"well well well what a surprise, the one and only Alexandros, the one who challenged the legions of the Nemesis, the hero of Nosgoth~"
she closed her snout to my face and looked at my eyes and then my body until i took a step back and said with my sword pointed at her
"keep away Dragon, where is the Lady of the lake ?"
her eyes kept locked on me until she gave a little laught and said with a little smile
"well you're looking at her"
'i can't believe it, she is the Lady of the Lake ?'
"it's a pleasure to meet you..."
"My name is Eryny and i already know you Alexandros"
"my pleasure to meet you Miss Eryny"
i said as i bowed, we stayed in silence until a laught started to echoe on the cave walls, i looked at Eryny and indeed she was laughting, she continued until she looked at me with a small smile and said with halflided eyes
"what a surprise, a gentlemen in a dying world~"
my eyes widened in surprise and i tought while keepeing my eyes locked on hers
'she knows about the pillars ?'
i tought no one know about the destruction of Nosgoth, i kept looking at her but she said what i was thinking
"yes Alexandros, i know about the fall of the pillars~"
"pray tell me Miss, how do you know about that ?"
with a little smile she said while lowering her head and looking straight at me
"ohh Alexandros~,being the Lady of the Lake i could feel something was wrong, the flowers started to die, some animals started to dessapear and the forest started to become more and more...Dark, i could feel something was not right so i flew off the forest to see what was happening, when i arrived to the pillars i landed among the trees and it was then that i saw...the pillars were cracked and fallen apart and in that moment i knew what was happening, Nosgoth was dying. But suddenly a shockwave struck the ground that crossed the entire land and from the Altar a figure appeared"
my eyes widened in amazement at the story, so the one who condened Nosgoth revealead itself when the Pillars started to crumble, i need to get more information, i need to get to the pillars.
"who was the figure ?"
"i don't know, the only thing i'm sure is, it was not human, but in a nick of time he dessapeared and reapeared right in front of me and then i could see who it was: skin black as night, giant horns on its head, red eyes as the color of blood, but suddenly he pointed his hand towards me and a purple light formed on his palm and with a motion of his hand a ball of energy strucked me on the chest, i could feel my energy was dessapearing and everthing was spinning, but before everthing went black he said something that left me both puzzled and scared"
as she continued her story but what she said next left me speechless
"he said that what he had done was only the beginning of something much much greater, the final countdown began, and with that he dessapeared with a black smoke and i fainted into darkness"
she raised her head and showed a huge scar on her chest and she continued
"when i awakened i was back at the lake, but something interesting happened. This very room that you stand is part of the ruins of an old fortress, i found it's remains in the middle of the lake. This room is some kind of treasure room that explains the treasure that you see, but to me that's mere trinkets you can keep it if you want, but there is something that doesn't make sense. There was never a fortress in this lake it only appeared after the pillars were destroyed~"
"you mean that this whole fortress appeared here overnight ?"
"yes Alexandros, something happened, something have changed and i fear that it have happened all over Nosgoth~"
"she is right, since my awaken i could feel that something wasn't right, i could feel that something's has indeed changed"
but then she continued while closing her face to mine, i could feel her hot breath as her voice said on my face
"but there is something that i found and i want to show it to you, come with me please~"
Suddenly she lifted her legs and her wings fluttered, she turned to the back wall of the cave and motioned for me to follow her, I did not know if I should trust her, but if she wanted to kill me, she would have done that. I nodded and started to follow her. I kept looking at what was around me, we were walking in a huge hallway that she could cross very easily, tattered paintings along with banners stood on the walls. echoes of long-forgotten past, broken swords and other weapons kept on the ground, but no body
'where are the owners of this weapons ? perhaps they have escaped ?'
suddenly we arrived at a threshold with one of the doors had fallen on the other room and the other is what appeared to have been forced over, Eyny said to me while giving a little nudge on the door
"it's in here Alexandros~"
she passed throught the threshold and dessapeared into the room soon i followed her and inside i saw her beside of what appeared to be a throne ?, she motioned me to come closer and when i arrived next to her i saw a skelleton sitted on the throne with a very familiar armor

that armor semed very familiar but i'm sure i've never seen it before, but then something caught my atention. On his hand was a scroll with a symbol printed on it, i touched his hand but then a Dark smoke started to sip out of his eyes and mouth and started leaking around the floor and suddenly a black fog engulfed my vision and a voice said in a whisper
"welcome Alexandros~"
and i fainted into the darkness.
