softness

Fragile and soft. I will run my fingertips over your jaw, just slightly enough to see your eyes flutter close.

I hear you exhale. My heart expands in affection, filling my chest to the brim with golden sunlight.

I kiss your nose. You open your eyes just long enough to call me sweet. I glow with praise and run my fingers through your hair.

Later I am still wrapped around your waist. I squeeze tightly, you laugh and gasp for air.

"I know you love me, I love you too"

In this moment I feel that it's true. But I'm still looking to go out of my way to show you. You ask me to look up at you, my head against your chest.

"How cute"

I smile, Genuine. I couldn't bare to loose you. To want to forget this and everything we've done.

Soon enough the comforting heat embraces us. You caress my waist before kissing my head.

The joy I feel when I realize that I'm the only one. I've always felt selfish taking you for myself, but I've never been one to practice self control.

I hope that you can say the same.
