the sun is setting i'll have to go home soon, but before i leave let me taste u

I look up at you, soaked in golden sunlight

Suddenly I feel entirely at peace with myself and everything that happened because I know that it's for the better

Already you've taught me so much, but as I breathe in your scent I think about all the days wasted on not being with you.

All the days I wasted not knowing you

How beautiful you look with the warmth of the light streaked through your face

The warmth of your hands on my hip

The warmth of my heart in my chest

The warmth of knowing you feel the same

I am entranced by you and only you and in this moment I am at peace with everything that has led me here.

You are warm

And you are safe

And you are everything I need

My breath gets caught in my chest as I look up at you

Gentle

Loving

I want to stay here until the end of time, both of us just like this.
