It's been a while, yes, because writer's block has a funny way of dealing with things. I've come down with a particularly nasty strain of cold (again, yes, I know), but at least I'm not fumbling around in the dark, searching for a metaphorical light called inspiration in the sea of darkness that I regard as my boring, plaintiff life.
Which means, yes, there's been an unexpected plot revamp, but I'm going to be carrying through with it. Newest chapter(s) might come soon (though school's about to start... I wonder how I'm going to manage my time).
