A feeling of being special
An object that has a story to tell
A word to describe something dear to you
Was I ever important to you?
No
You cared deeply for something else
Because if I was important to you
You wouldn't have left me feeling this broken
And what hurt me even more
You never noticed how I was crumbling
You never took the time to see how empty I was
Because one thing distracted you
The one thing of importance to you
And that one thing of importance
Was never me
