Distance from people
From people I care about
I hate this distance between us
I don't know how to act
It's like a switch turned off in me
And suddenly, I don't know how to function
We have grown apart
And distances ourselves from one another
But this distance has taught me one thing
Only the people who truly cared about me would have taken the time to lessen the distance between us
Guess that means
You never really cared
And I'll learn to live with that
And make sure to appreciate those who appreciate me
