Sting woke up screaming suddenly. Surprising a certain companion.
"If you're going to become conscious at least do it like every other human being," an annoyed Carla huffed.
"Is Lucy okay?" was the first thing that gushed out of the blond-haired mage. Carla rolled her eyes. "She's fine,". Then Sting suddenly remembered everything. While touching his face he mumbled.
"I was a dragon. A dragon I was," he whispered. Carla rolled her eyes for what seemed the hundredth time.
"Anyway, can we focus on the matter on hand?" she asks, her patience slipping away.
"What's the matter?" Sting asked. Carla closed her eyes and sighed. The exceed was mumbling something inaudible. Then she looked at Sting.
"Now that you can change into a dragon, you need to be aware of your new role," she states. Sting raised his eyebrows, so being a dragon was a job now? "Being a dragon is indeed a job, a very important one at that." The dragon slayer looked at her expectantly.
"Your dragon Weisslogia taught you all the magic you know correct?"
"Yes," Sting replied.
"The reason why you were taught dragon slaying magic is that of the fact that by using it you can transform into a dragon. And while being a dragon, you can do your role easier." Carla informed the clueless Sting. "The role you might ask is to protect the Queen Dragon or in a more correct term the Queens of all Dragons," Carla continued.
"Who am I protecting?"
"Luciana and Lillith Heartfilia or better known as..." By now Sting's eyes widened in realisation. No wonder they had that weird dragon slaying magic. And how Lucy was able to summon a dragon and know how to make Sting one.
"Lucy and Lola Heartfilia," the exceed and the dragon slayer said in unison. Why didn't he notice before?
"Carla?" she hummed in acknowledgement.
"Why are you, of all the people in the universe telling information this important to me?" Carla then turned to a human, her suit looking as neat as ever.
"We take turns, you might not believe it but some exceeds like me, Happy, Panther Lily, Lector and even Frosch have the ability to change into dragons. Those exceeds work closely with her Majestys to make as many dragon slayers able to turn into dragons as possible. Especially those who are able to use the Dragon Force successfully, that is one of the reasons why you always find a dragon slayer with a exceed. It just happened to be my turn to explain to you," Carla clarified.
"What's your dragon?" he questioned quizzically.
"Siren Dragon if you must know," she answered her arms crossed. She sighed, "You can't tell Rogue or the others. We will tell him when he transforms, the others, however, they will be told soon after Rogue is aware of his role."
Sting blinked. All of this information was getting slightly overwhelming.
"Why did you transform?" he asked. Carla rolled her eyes (during this conversation she must have rolled her eyes like a hundred more times). "If you must know, I need to reach the doorknob, I don't feel like using my wings because I'm really not bothered. Explaining things like this can get rather tedious," she explained. Sting nodded and she turned to leave.
Before she left she glanced at the still confused Sting. She smiled sympathetically, "I know this may be a lot to handle. When I found out the dragon slayer I was paired up with was actually a goddess, it was quite surprising. I couldn't handle the fact for weeks, but I soon saw that she didn't change despite the fact that she was who she-" she cursed inwardly when she realised what she had done and quickly left.
"Wait Wendy is her partner," Sting thought aloud. Then his eyes widened. "Holy shit! What next, Lucy is married to Zeref and Lola was married engaged with a runaway bandit?" he asked sarcastically.

Wendy was walking around in Crocus. She was accompanied with Mira who was beaming down at her.
Despite the fact that they contrasted in nearly every single way, they acted like sisters. One of them always had the others back and would die for the other in a second. That fact alone made them closer than any blood siblings.
"Oneesan, I smell them," Wendy told Mira nervously. Mira's smile turned into a worried frown. "Is-" she began to ask but before she could say anything more a familiar voice called her name. "Mira?" she turned around to see a shocked Lisanna and Elfman who looked like he was going to tear up.
Lisanna was soon joined by a pissed Natsu, Gray, Erza. When seeing the people who she hated so much so angry, Wendy took a big step back.
"You need to come back to Fairy Tail. You are already hated by most the guild by going with Lucy the bitch," an annoyed Erza commanded. Then a sword was drawn. She pointed it at Wendy who was now confidently standing beside Mira.
"What did you call Lucy-sama?" she asked darkly. If you hear the Goddess of Heavens talk like that, you're a goner.
"I called her a bitch and that is only a quarter of the truth," she glared at the young goddess "Don't tell me you are going to choose a weakling like her over a guild full of able wizards. Come back, or I will force you." Than Wendy looked up. The warmth in her eyes disappearing.
Glaring at Erza, Wendy pushed the blade away from her neck, slightly bending it. Erza was for once. Scared. Mira just seemed to stare at the young maiden with pride. A look she never gave her fake siblings.
"Wendy, you belong to us." an annoyed Natsu stated simply.
"I'm not an object to you. If I did belong to anyone, it would be Lucy and Sabertooth!" she snapped darkly. Her aura complimenting her glare.
"Sorry, I didn't catch that, did you just say you belong to Lucy and Sabertooth?" Gray asked not trying to hide his distaste.
"Yes. Problem?" The child asked shifting her death glare to the ice mage. Gray shivered.
"Mira, we need to go," a tiny voice whispered. MiraJane turned to see her sister dragging away from the scene. Mira pulled herself away from Lisaana. "I'm not leaving," she states bluntly.
Lisanna turned, her expression hurt. Mira sighed "I know that this might be hard but I am not who you think I am,"
"Mira-"
"Lisanna I belong with Lucy," Mira said simply.
"Even if you are not related to me, you are still part of Fairy Tail," Mira chuckled lightly.
"Wendy, I don't understand where you are getting these strange ideas from but you are from Fairy Tail," Natsu told the blue-haired girl. Wendy chuckled lightly.
At the same time, Mira pulled up her skirt high enough to see the new guild mark and Wendy pulled her sleeve high enough to see the guild mark of:
Sabertooth
Everyone stilled. Seeing this as a good opportunity, Mira and Wendy left.
"How many people did we lose?" Natsu asked randomly.
"Enough to say that Fairy Tail will never be the same again," Elfman said sadly.

And that is yet another chapter. There was a bit of Wendy and Mira. Hope it was enough.
