Omniscient
Yn sat around the table with her friends laughing.
"Ooh, who is that?" One of her friend cooed as this tall lightskin man walked in.
He had a dark brown tight curls sprouting from his head as it all sat up nicely. He had freckles on his two very muscular cheeks. His jaw bone stuck out as he clenched it.
Yn stood up fixing her dress.
"Where you going sis?" Another friend asked.
"Im going to get my future husband." Yn said walking off. She walked up to him as he sat down with his book.
He looked up and saw her. He waited for to speak as she spoke nicely.
"Hi, im Yn and i was wondering what your name was.
"Im Keith. I just moved here not to long ago."
"Oh?" Yn said pretending to be interested. A newbie? She was all for it.
"Yeah, i um.. found this amazing bookstore and then i walked and found.. this cafe."
"Oh yeah, Lauren's is very popular around here." Yn nodded.
"Really? Hm." He said grinning. Before he could turn back to his book Yn stopped him.
"Well, i was wondering if we could maybe grab a drink sometime?"
"I dont drink." He said as he continued reading.
"Oh, thats ok. Maybe we can just uhhh meet back here and maybe make shit shake." She smirked. He lifted his head and looked at her with an amused face.
He was amused by her attempt to flirt. He's heard it all before.
"Wow. How long did it take you to come up with that one?" He chuckled at her.
"Um what?"
"You're being shot down princess." He said as he grabbed his books and coffee.
"But-"
"But. If you really wanna talk meet me at 45 & western."
"Thats where that weird R&B club is located."
"Well then.. i guess you dont wanna be with me as bad as you do. Because i like that type of shit." He shrugged as he started to walk out.
"Wait! Ill meet you!" She called after him. He turned around as smiled.
"I know you will." He called back winking.
