The chaos inside my mind is more calming than you think

It tells me he loves me, he really does;

No matter what he texts me.

What he texts me:

He tells me he's sorry,

But only after I say I'm sorry.

He tells me he loves me,

And always makes sure he says it before I do,

But gets upset when I don't say it first.

The chaos inside my mind is more calming than you think.

It tells me to change so I can blend in so I won't have anxiety attacks when people stare at me for too long because I'm wearing a crop top when I'm five feet five inches and almost one hundred sixty pounds.

It tells me to put earbuds in whenever a social interaction is involved so people think I'm not interested in conversing and they'd talk less.

The chaos inside my mind is more calming than you think.

The second I wake up is the second that I get ready for my day because I don't want to lay in bed remembering to tell him I love him first,

To wear what everyone else is wearing.

To bring earbuds

And to get up as soon as my alarm goes off for school every morning at 6:21 a.m.

I would set my alarm for 6:20 a.m., but the chaos inside my mind is so calming nothing needs to be exact anymore.

The chaos in my mind is so calming, even my ocd is gone.

(Except for when picture frames are crooked or in not drawing straight or someone can't rhyme)

The chaos in my mind is more calming than you think.

It makes me repeat dates and times of appointments in my head so I remember to leave on time.

It helps me remember things.

Except names.
I can't ever remember names well.

The chaos in my mind is more calming than you think

It reminds me that the more I repeat these things, the more it'll come true.

The chaos in my mind is more calming than I think.
