Without saying a word, all five looked up from their letters and tucked them into their back pockets. Without saying a word, they all started for their ordered rooms.
Jordan walked up the stairs first, with Mary two steps behind her and Roland two steps behind Mary. Lindsey walked two steps ahead of Michael towards the back of the cabin on the downstairs level.
Five doors opened simultaneously and shut two and a half seconds later.
Five locks clicked. And five gasps echoed.
