(WHAT-IF) Solid Snake Joins Team Rainbow?

Snake had entered an office that contained a 3D prototype of a Metal Gear he hadn't seen recently. Suddenly his time observing it for weaknesses was cut short by about 15 enemies heading his way, will he be able to kill them all and escape or has Snake reached the end of his life?
(Now)
Snake took cover behind the office desk and began to think of his options. Sure he could pop from cover and take a few shots but that would result in his immediate death after one or two well placed shots. His other option was to throw a grenade and hope he eliminates a few of the enemies and then whoever's left he would drop quickly and efficiently. He then went with option two and he tossed a grenade that made a clank on the steel door before a loud boom could be heard, lucky for Snake his body was used to explosions and so he wasn't affected severely so once he heard the boom he popped up from his cover and began to headshot anyone that was standing. After shooting five rounds he noticed the area was clear and he began to get all the intel he needed by using a thumb drive that gave Dokkaebi access to the system so she could hack all the files or from the computer. While we waited he began to scan the area and set a camera nearby for someone to warn him of an enemy. Snake then began an old routine of checking his weapons, he would disassemble them and reassemble them as fast as he could. He always thought it was weird but whatever passes time when he needed to always kept him occupied.
(1 hour later)
Snake was about to light himself a cigarette when he heard from Six "Mission complete Snake, Head to the insertion point for extraction. Blackbeard will be there waiting for you with fresh dive gear." Snake then said "On my way..." he grabbed the thumb drive and placed it in a bag then he placed it in his pocket. On his way out he could tell that the old building was finally finished and began to crumble and parts from the damaged ceiling began to fall. As a piece fell down towards his head he dove away quickly and he noticed that his rifle sling was caught and he immediately removed it before he headed to extraction. As he began to cross the snowfield his Solid Eye started beeping warning him of snow squall bearing down on him, his suit would mitigate the cold down to around -10 degrees but the cold was predicted to be at least -20. His survival skills would be put to the test and immediately he knew what to do; he grabbed a large rock and began to dig a hole in the snow in order to have a snow cave. Once he had done that he then needed something to reduce the cold air that blew in, he noticed a pine tree that was intact and he shot down a decent sized limb from it. When it landed he immediately grabbed it and pulled it to the entrance of the cave in order to close it off. Before he stopped he also began to make a basic bedding with another limb that he used for a simple bed layer. He then heard from Blackbeard "Yo Snake I'm here at extraction where are you?" Snake replied "There's a snowstorm inbound...get to cover and just wait for me. And hey watch your back out here, there's a few of these White Masks here, I got a few but I don't know if they're all killed or not." Blackbeard then said "Roger that Snake...stay safe brother. I'll wait until you get here." Snake changed frequencies and said to Six "Hey I just told Blackbeard that a snow squall is over my head, I can't move until this passes hope you're okay with that.." Six sighed and said "it's alright Snake...just get the data back when you can. Dokkaebi says she can scan the intel later as for Valkyrie she wants to know why you left her camera there." Snake sighed and said "that's my bad, I forgot I tossed it out and I never grabbed it, it's near the office and it's pretty hard to see the camera due to where it is." Six then said "alright then....see you when you get back Snake. And also good luck." Snake nodded and said "thanks.." he signed off and said to himself "Well guess is better get comfy, looks like it'll be a while."
(30 minutes later)
The squall has finally cleared and the area where Snake was had been covered by the snow that had fallen. He slowly pushed the limb with his feet and began to crawl out of his makeshift cave. He grabbed his rifle and checked to make sure he was not only loaded but he had a round in the chamber. Once his gear inspection was done he called Blackbeard and said "I'm on my way now you still at the evac point?" Blackbeard then said after a small pause "Sorry Snake I had to move from there...a few guards were there and I don't have a silencer for my rifle. I'll be there by the time you get there though." Snake sighed and said "Alright just make sure you get there." He signed off and said "Dammit...now I have to hope he's there first otherwise I'll be busy killing the white masks until then." Snake was in the tank warehouse building finally his goal was ever so close but his years of experience told him that something was off, normally for him towards the end of every mission literally and figuratively they turn into a SNAFU. (SNAFU=Situation Normal: All Fucked Up.) his rifle was trained in front of him aimed for an easy takedown or an easy headshot, his CQC knife poised in his left hand against the handguard and his solid eye was scanning wherever he looked. He called for Jackal and immediately the Spanish operator answered by saying "Hola amigo! What can I do for ya?" Snake then said "Tracking...what's the best way to tell if you think you're walking into a trap?" Jackal paused and after a few moments he said to snake "Well when you start to feel your senses hone in on something in particular or whenever you feel a few hairs on your neck stand up and you can hear or feel the enemy nearby. Is your eyepatch able to track them down?" Snake was going to speak however he heard a noise that attracted his attention, he then said to Jackal "Hold that thought a moment..." Snake looked at the enemy and noticed that he was alone in the tank building but it was clear that he was talking to someone question now became, who was the guy talking to? He proceeded to the target and one he was behind him, Snake used his CQC to not only disarm the enemy but also to put them in a chokehold to force intel from him. Snake then said to the enemy "So What brings you here?" The enemy simply said "You ain't getting shit from me!" Snake then said "That's fine..I'll just go ahead and kill ya." The enemy then said "wait wait!!! I'll talk! I don't wanna die please!" Snake then said while slightly loosening his grip on the poor man "Go on..."
(5 minutes later)
Snake then said "So your boss is making a Metal Gear in order to dismantle Team Rainbow? What's going to be the armament for it?" The enemy simply said "Nukes. They want you guys dead and no trace of existence..." Snake then said "thank you for the information now I'm sorry to do this but." He then proceeded to make the enemy black out but instead of snapping his neck Snake used a pair of handcuffs and arrested the individual, six then said to him "Well that's first....why bring him back?" Snake then said while carrying the man on his shoulders "It's simple...he's gonna die anyway and I have an idea on what we can do for the kid. He's only 20 years old Six, I think he deserves a second chance at life." Six then said "No offense but when did this change occur?" Snake paused for a moment and said "I once told someone this and now I'm going to tell you the exact same thing Six...Find something to believe in, and find it for yourself. When you do, pass it on to the future." Ela then chimes in and said "Where did you hear that?" Snake replied with a smirk "From myself." Six chuckled and Ela has a deadpan look on her face as for Snake he just smiled and said "It's the truth though Ela..also Blackbeard where are you I'm at the evac point." Blackbeard replied by saying "Over here, see my light?" Snake nodded and once he climbed in the boat, black set a course for a carrier ship nearby so that they could fly back to Hereford. Snake looked at black and said "Do me a favor...keep an eye on the kid. Don't kill him but don't let him go, he's got a second chance at life and I don't want to ruin that for him." Black then said to Snake after acknowledging him "Taking a nap?" Snake nodded and he pulled his bandana over his eyes and he immediately fell asleep while Black began to drive the boat back to the carrier....Snake's Mission was a success and he learned some valuable intel but now the question remains....can they find and eliminate the Metal Gear before its launch or will Rainbow be nuked into oblivion?
