Christ is YOUR Salvation

Three- Salvation

Jesus is your salvation. 

He is your way to get you towards a better path in your life.

Life can be just life sometimes. Life can be hard. 

And boy, do I know that. 

And sometimes, sometimes we feel like we just want it to stop, to end this now, and to just- just give up.

But that isn't what Christ wants us to do.

And even if you don't believe in Him, you have a feeling that life is not full, that you can't live it up to the fill. You feel like a piece- a part, is missing.

You crave peace.

Happiness.

Joy.

And a need to be loved.

Every human does. 

Everyone.

And some might say, "Oh, but some people don't have feelings." But, the truth is, deep down, they do have a heart.

They do have feelings.

And even though they might never cry, they do feel sad.

You might be having things that you are struggling with. Some things you are having problems with at home. 

Perhaps a family member just died. 

Or your parents divorced.

Or a beloved pet has passed away. 

Or maybe you know someone who has fallen into the addiction of drugs or alcohol.

Or maybe you don't even really tell anyone about your true self. You tell them lies to be popular, to be cool. To fit in. Maybe you make yourself a new identity, telling people fake things so that you can seem cooler than anyone else. Maybe you think, it's just one lie, it won't hurt. But it does, and soon, you are surrounded by so many that you can't seem to get out of them. 

Maybe it's something even worse. 

And then, you immerse yourself in a world. 

A fake world.

Where you fill your life with artificial things that can make you feel better for a little bit, but then eventually, they fade away.

And sometimes, when they do, you just want to give up. 

But, you know what? 

You don't have to. 

Because you have a loving Jesus who knows what you are going through. 

Yeah, you might think, well since He is the God of all the universe, then how does he know what I'm going through?

But He does.

He bore the cross.

He sacrificed Himself for us, so that we would all be saved. 

All of us. 

His blood was shed for us. 

He is the lamb who was slain. 

He is our Shepard. 

Our Savior. 

And He will give you life. 

All you have to do is to ask Him.

To close your eyes and pray. It doesn't matter if you don't know how.

It doesn't matter where you are. 

Just do it. 

Ask Him to take away all of the sin you have done.

Ask Him to lead you down His path, not the path that the world is leading you into.

Ask Him to to lead you to do amazing, impactful things. 

Ask Him to open up His door so that you can go through it.

Pour your heart into your prayer. 

Ask Him whatever you want to ask Him.

Tell Him whatever you want to tell Him.

Because ANYONE can do them.

Ask Him to be a part of your life.

But you know what? 

He already is.

 All you have to do is to be willing to ask Him. To open up to Him. 

To believe.
