"The first to apologise is the bravest. The first to forgive is the strongest. The first to forget is the happiest." - Unknown
The silver veil of the moon descended upon the forest as night time came. The moon looked down at the two werewolves who stalked through the forest, their movements no longer graceful with their tired and sluggish strides.
Reynah's P.O.V
Okay, stay behind me we're entering their territory. Remember to obey their every command unless I say otherwise. Tobias' voice rang through my mind, I slowed down my tempo to match his pace.
I let you come with me because I needed a guide, not a babysitter, I can take care of myself Tobias
We're not in Evergreen anymore Reynah, this is new territory. Silver Claw territory, the only reason why we are here is because we're desperate. I don't plan on staying long.
I kept silent, knowing it was only stupid to start a fight now. We continued to stalk through the forest, wary with their steps.
Bright lights were seen up ahead indicating that we were near. Tobias was on high alert, scanning our surroundings every few minutes looking for any potential danger.
Let's shift before we get any closer I commented and Tobias nodded his head, we parted in two opposite directions and I swiftly changed into the clothes that were in my mouth. It wasn't comfortable but it sure was convenient
"All good over here", as soon as I got the ok from Tobias I walked towards him, away from the shelter of the trees.

"I think we should split up, I don't wanna be here when the sun appears" I said handing Tobias half of the money in my denim pocket. I wore a loose fitted white white shirt and faded blue jeans.
It was harder than expected to carry around my clothes, I'm glad I skipped the shoes, it wasn't like there were that many people out at this time of night to judge me.
"As if they would let us stay in their territory for a day anyway. You can start gathering the supplies, I have to inform the Beta of our presence before we somehow get attacked" Tobias scoffed stuffing the money in his denim pocket.
"Sure thing, mind link me if anything happens." I said walking away from him
"Same to you, don't go looking for any trouble or your dad will have my head" Tobias shouted after me and I waved back knowing he could tell I heard him.
My eyes jumped from one place to another, not only was their forests huge even their pack territory was vast, I wonder how many people are actually in this pack.
With my heightened hearing, I following the noise of people conversing. Soon enough I arrived at something that resembled a busy street. I scanned the place for the materials I needed; I've already spotted a few but before I get the ok from Tobias I'm just gonna have to wait.
"You! What are you doing on my territory? I don't recognise you" I turned around to face a girl no older than 16. She had long midnight locks and she carried herself like royalty.
"I'm just passing by, I didn't mean to trespass. My friend is-" I tried to reason with the young girl but before I could give more details on my arrival she decided to cut me off.
"I don't care what your friend is doing, I care about you and the fact that you're still standing in front of me. Get out of my territory before I call the guards" She spoke with authority, I decided to be smart and not challenge her threat.
"It's pretty late and you seem young, what's your name?" I was definitely testing her patience since she marched up to me. Even with her short height she glared at me acting as if I couldn't shove her out of my way, I almost laughed but covered it up with a cough.
She narrowed her eyes at me. "Aspen. Aspen Pierce. I don't need to explain myself to you, now if you don't want to get your head ripped off I demand you leave my territory"
"Okay now we both know that was an empty threat, I'm betting you can't even shift yet"
That tickled her off, she opened her mouth to speak, but suddenly the sounds of footsteps and the clanging of metal made her stop.
"You have got to be kidding me?" I exclaimed, my eyes widening. Could this day get any worse?
