SUMMARY: Kimura had enough problems. Her best friend, Keith Kogane, got kicked out of the Garrison, leaving her all alone, her sister is closer then ever to kicking her out (for her 'discipline issues' or whatever), and to top it all off, she gets sucked into space with a bunch of annoying kids. The good part, they get to be super cool defenders of the universe. The bad part, she doesn't. Oh, and she's an alien. This has been an eventful day.
NOTES:
— her alien race name is up to you but her alien race are shapeshifters who adapt to their environments. her natural form isn't known, bc as a child she inadvertently shapeshifter to look like a human because she needed to fit in (if she's cold, even if she doesn't want too, she'll grow fur) it's different then allura bc allura decides when she wants to shapeshift, for kimura it's a reflex
— she's! not! a! part! of! voltron! she's like the first person who goes into missions to make sure it's safe (bc if she's caught by a galra she can shapeshift into one of them on command)
— she finds out her parents were this shapeshifting race, landed on earth, gave birth to kimura and her sister, then disappeared. most of the book should be her trying to find her parents until she realizes voltron is more of a family then her parents ever were
— she's not a 'paladin' because she doesn't have a lion, but allura gave her purple armour. she y'all rides with keith bc they're best bros 😜🤟🏼
— she and keith are both orphans (kimura has a sister tho) and they're pretty fucking tight they're angry asian wlw mlm solidarity
— she has like a tiny grip on altean magic, because allura teaches her
— no love interest bc i hc her as a lesbian and i would rather eat vomit then pair her w any of the boys (except hunk, but they wouldn't fit together)
— when she comes back to earth, she finds out her sister moved before the garrison could keep tabs on her, so her current locations are unknown and that wrecks kimura
— she really is the baddest bitch. when keith becomes too edgy in s7 she slaps him and is like "keith kogane, i once pulled a lego out of your nose, stop acting like an mcr album and lead ur goddamn team"
