I am always inspired by Arcelo's speeches but today he had gathered everyone in the asylum to hear it. It must be good. Better than good. Great.
"Forgive your birth givers, I speak based on the fear of the forgotten. Medicine will NEVER be a cure! We must Rise above our Insanity and build a life of our own! Follow me my friends! Into this new world! Our World! We must forget the past that was given to us–forget the shame that was forced upon us!"
"Yeah!"the crowd shouted
"We are not the ones who are crazy, deranged, or even the least bit mad! We are as sane as they come! The caretakers and those on the outside are the ones who are crazy, deranged, and even mad!"
"Yeah!"they said getting riled up for the conclusion of his big speech
"WE ARE 'NORMAL'. They took our lives away from us because they called us mad. When really we were perfectly sane. They TOOK our lives! It's Time We TAKE back what was ours to begin WITH!"
That definitely got them going. They were ready to take back what was theirs.
