He noticed everything becoming quieter and quieter everyday but what he didn't realise was what it meant. When he woke up one morning not hearing a thing, it scared him. Wouldn't it scare you too? When his eleventh birthday rolled around, he got a letter to go to a school that if he went by logic, shouldn't have existed at all. What will people think when they find out he's deaf? Harry certainly doesn't want to find out. Harry is slytherin and therefore the entire story is rewritten for Drarry. No voldy, no horcruxes. Remus is in hiding, and Sirius is still currently in Azkaban, but neither die, so he only lives with the Dursleys till fourth year. His parents died in a regular old car crash just like the dursleys said. Remus has been writing to Harry, so he knows about magic and stuff by the time he gets his letter, he's just still a bit new.
