A/N: This was a poem I posted on Pinterest YEARS ago, and it's been getting some attention in the Marvel fandom lately because it sounds an awful lot like a Bucky Barnes/Natasha Romanoff thing. I wanted to post it here to clear some things up.

Yes, it is a Bucky/Nat poem with lines of dialogue taken directly from their interactions in the comics. Yes, it has a different name than this account because "R. Wolf" or "Royale Wolf" is the name I used to go by online before that Pinterest account got deleted (for no reason whatsoever) and this account changed names.

I'm trying to find the other poems I had on Pinterest before my account got deleted, because I had a couple others about Marvel heroes. I thought I had already posted it here, but evidently not! I hope you enjoy! Let me know if you see any other R. Wolf works floating around. I'd appreciate it! :)

"You're a good man,"
She once had said,
For she loved the man,
Not for what once he was,
But for what he had become today.

He knew better.
He knew she was wrong,
For the memories
Of things he'd done
Haunted him every night.

"No," he smiled. "I'm not,
But you're the only one
Who knows that."
Even so, she didn't care,
And he loved her for it.
