Hidden

No matter how close we are,

I have to keep these hidden lies,

Crumpled up with the fear I might lose you,

Even when my heart is shedding in cries.

Your face merges through my eyes,

Every time I shut them tight,

It feels like you are always here,

Wrapped firmly in my sight.

The way you hold my hand,

Even if it's for a while,

Makes my heart tingle,

As I incautiously smile.

The hugs you comfort me with,

Makes my heart skip a beat,

You wrap your arms around my waist,

And I hold you tight as if we will never meet.

The kisses you shower me with,

Leaves a deep dent in my heart,

Carved with your memories that can't fade away,

Even if my heart is torn apart.
