Armin's Confession Part 2

I started running in a panic looking for Armin. "Where could he have gone that fast? Dammit!" I was running around looking for him for about five minutes, until I run past these giant green trees then spot him sitting and leaning on one of them. "Armin!" I call his name all out of breath. He looks up at me with a red face and teary eyes. "E-Eren?" I walk over to him then he seems to get a little more red. "Um Eren... I-I'm sorry..." "why did you come after me?" I sit down next to him and lean on the tree as the wind blows smoothly. ".........I'm sorry Armin." "Huh?! Why are you apologizing?! I should be the one whose apologizing to you!" His face gets even more flustered as he wipes away his tears. "I... all this time I didn't realize how you felt... I was to caught up in my own little world moping about all my fathers memories and everything else..." I began to look down at the grass we're sitting on as I said those words to him. He takes a moment before he responds. "It's okay, it's not your fault. We're all going through a lot right now. Your depressed because there's nothing we can do... and we don't have much longer to live either. We sit in silence for a few minutes... "do you........ like me Armin? Romantically?" I blush and turn my head to look at him but I can't quit make out what face his making because of the wind blowing his hair in his face. "... no." His response took me by surprise. "What? But you... you kissed me." The wind continuously blows in his face making it hard for me to see him. "I was just letting my past feelings take over, I wasn't thinking straight. "When we saw the ocean after all that time of dreaming... you wouldn't even look at me. You broke my heart and I hated you for that, .... but it's ok because I understand what you were going through at the time and those feelings are long gone now so... so don't worry about it..." I didn't know what to say, I was just in complete shock still unable to see his face. "Really?" "I- I see..." are the only words I could make come out. "Huh?" I feel something wet fall on my hand, I was crying. "I'm so sorry Armin, *hic." "E-Eren?" He turns his head to look at me but I just keep looking down at the grass. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! "We dreamed about seeing the ocean for such a long time but because of me your dreams were crushed!" "I hurt you, I hurt you so badly and I didn't even realize it... *sob" "Armin could you ever find it in your heart to forgive me?!" By this point I was bawling. I sit up and turn my head to the right to look at Armin whom is also crying. "Are you kidding, Of course I forgive you! I lied so you wouldn't feel bad about me liking you this whole time." I love you Eren, I love you more than anything in this world!" He looks at me with those same sparkling watery eyes. "I- I love you too Armin." This seems to shock him a bit as he opens his mouth a little. " I was to caught up in my own little world that I had forgotten about these feelings." We stare at each other a bit with watery eyes before I lean my head in and kiss him. It doesn't take to long before he returns the kiss. After five seconds we part lips and just stare into each others eyes again. "From now on I'll do whatever I can, so will you... stay with me until my years are up?" I say with my voice cracking again. "Yeah, of course." Armin says giving me another one of his warm smiles. *hic! I wrap my arms around him giving him a tight hug, as he does the same. "I love you so much Armin!" "Mhm, I love you too Eren." He slowly pulls me off of him then looks me in the eyes with a smile on his face. "If it's not to late then let's go back, to a place our dream lies. "You mean the ocean?" I ask unsure of what he meant. "Yeah the ocean the sun hasn't set yet, let's go!" I smile at him in return. "Ok, let's go!" We stand on the sand looking out at the orange sun set. "It's pretty isn't it?" Armin asks, eyes sparkling while looking out at the horizon. "Yeah... it is." "Hey what's that?" I point to the water. "There's something in there!" "Huh? Where?" Armin walks over to where I was pointing which gave me enough time grab water and splash it on him. "Ah!" He gets startled by this and looks up at me. "W-what was that for?" I don't answer him, I just start laughing. "Hahahahaha!" "I tricked you, I didn't see anything in the water haha!" He just stares at me looking surprised before he starts to laugh too. "Oh haha, I guess you got me then." We laugh and play in the water till the sun sets without us realizing it. As we lay in the sand exhausted from playing in the water we look up at the stars and the bright full moon. "This feels nice." I say to Armin whose to my left laying right next to me. "Yeah it is, this breeze is amazing." "...yeah, except we're all covered in sand though." "Hehe, yeah we are because you wouldn't stop splashing water on me. "Hehe!" I laugh to this because it was true. As we stare into each others eyes I wished this moment would last forever. THE END
