Breathe in yourself

After every fall,
The very existence crumbling into dust and ashes,
The tree stood high, but the roots burnt, twisting and tossing
The punctured feelings roared,
Unsaid doubts thrashed around,
My arms soared up only to be flagged down,
So the sky lay awake in the thoughts of a tomorrow,
Where things might be different,
Where your clouds would roll over in interest,
The rain slipping through,
The earth breathed in relief,
As the soil eroded,
A cry of plea,
To stop you from leaving yourself again,
'Stop it'
'You're hurting too'
You were a stubborn, little blue,
Just like you were meant to be,
Not for you,
But for the clouds,
In times of hurricanes,
In times of rainbows,
Oh I wish, you could be seek refuge with the sun as well.
