A diary . It was labeled as personal diary . He stared at it for a minute and  kept it back into her bag. As he respects her privacy . He went into the room and found her sleeping  he went to her and sat by her side carassing her hair . She started mumblind in her sleep 

No .......... no plz . I beg you .......

She suddenly started shouting and karan was trying to calm her  but she was ver disturbed 

 No plz dont leave me  I LOVE YOU 

 Karan was shocked hearing this  he kept calming him 

Suddenly she opened her eyes and saw him and hugged him 

It was after several minutes that she realized that she was in her arms 

He kept rubbing her back to soothe her 

She suddenly backed out 

I am sorry "

No its okay how are you feeling now ?

 Iam fine 

 What. Fine ? There you were  burning in fever and you are saying nothing. 

And btw tell me in which joy you have  you have not eaten anything since morning  ? 

And since when  is this happening ? Kal to jab hum mile the  tab to thik tha 

 Preeta tum kya chupa rahi ho mujh se  ? Plz mujhse share karo 

And there preeta was sitting numbly looking at him and his care  looking at her lost in thougts karan snapped his fingers infront of her bringing her back to present

No .... nothing .... I mean iam fine She said without looking into his eyes 

You know preeta you cannot lie to me and when you lie you cannot face me  and look directly into  my eyes 

Now  look into my eyes and tell me what's troubling you. Look here 

And little did he know he had pressed a soft nerve 

With teary eyes she looked itno his brown eyes that were concerned for her  and got lost in them again 

Both shared an intense eye lock 

 Suddenly karans phn rang it was sofia . He went out to attend the phone  . There preta sitting on the bed was feeling as helpless as ever

Karan came inside the room with a soup bowl . He came to her and sit beside he 

Now eat something So you get some energy 

No karan plz iam not hungry 

  No ifs and buts  just finish this  and then we will go home  

And he forcefully made her eat it . She got up and sat in the car heading to their homes 

In the car  she noticed karan was very happy 

 Karan koi khas bat hai kia aj tum bht khush lag rahe ho 

Han wo Sofia ka phone aya tha wo Goa se wapis agai hai 

She broke again but composed herself 

Karan said " I was thinking to surprise her what do you thimk ?

Yeah thats a good idea you should go " she said putting  a fake  smile on her face and take some flowers or gift with you 

Yeah you are the right you are the best preeta thanks 

He was his best friend She loved her but she could not impose her will on him he had the right to choose his love and with bringing this in between she cant afford to loose her best friend So she decided to compromise as always 

 They reached her home she got out of the  car and headed towards it suddenly she heard 

Preeta .........

 It was karan 

Take care of your self and dont take stress kareli because its your work to give stress not to take it  BYE 

 With these words she drove away from her leaving her tearful 

She entered her room changed and took out her diary and started pouring her heart Onto it

There karan decided to meet sofia and took flowers for her and a diamond ring to propose her . He was very happy

 He reached her home and  rung the doorbell and waited fir someone to open the door  

Suddenly he realized the door was open and there was no one at home 

But he saw the light of one room was on he happily  entered the room and saw something shocking.........
