Victoria Gaile

It was a beautiful night, everything seemed perfect, the sky,  the stars,  the moon, the air, everything because I was with him, the Man who stole my heart.

We've been married for six years now... Six years with no kids, I know he wants kids. Hunter loves kids, but he's just so patient, so understanding, he's an amazing husband.

Although we've tried several times to have kids but it's all proved futile. I've visited so many fertility experts in an attempt to get pregnant, still nothing.

We were in our special place, the same spot he proposed to me. A beautiful garden, with an amazing view, it's even got a waterfall.

We were lying on our backs, looking at the stars but judging from the snores I'm hearing I guess Hunter fell asleep.  I looked at him and smiled,  he looks so cute when he's asleep. I looked at the sky again and something caught my eye, at first I thought it was a shooting star but when it started heading straight towards us I panicked. A meteor!  I stood up

"Hunter!  Hunter!! " I called

"ahluhyahtoo" he replied with a snort, turning sideways and stretching his hands trying to find me

Oh my goodness! He's still sleeping. I looked up again to see the meteor was still fast approaching. I then did what any loving wife would do in my position... I slapped him, hard.

"Hunter wake up!" He finally woke up with a yawn

"is something wrong love? " he asked while rubbing his eye.

I didn't have time to explain so I took his hand,  pulled him up and ran as fast as I could

"what is going on? " he asked, but still kept running with me

"a meteor! " I shouted

We heard it fall, we stopped and looked back. It fell in the exact same spot we were lying down, I looked at my husband who was staring at me with wide eyes. We walked back to the spot,  there was a very big hole in the ground and what we saw in it was definitely different from a meteor... Is that a sp...space ship?

"that doesn't look like a meteor" I heard Hunter say before he jumped inside the hole. Wait what?

"Hunter!! " I shouted, he couldn't hear me, I looked behind me. He shouldn't be in there, what if there's a monster in there or a bunch of aliens or even worse an infectious organism.

I face palmed myself physically, not mentally. I always fail when I try to face palm myself in my head, it's like my hand has a mind of its own, I then did the most stupid thing ever. I jumped in with him.

...

I fell from the sky

I was still a baby when I fell, seven months old... most babies would have died from the fall but I didn't. Why? Because I am not most babies, I don't even know what I am. When my parents found me they said I was cocooned inside a space ship, in a jellylike substance. With my beautiful pet, Lola. She's like my spirit animal.

I know it's obvious I must be an "alien"  but that word is forbidden in our house. My parents Mr. & Mrs. Gaile are crazy nut cases but amazing parents, they never made me feel different, treated me like I was special, treated me like a princess. They always say I'm a blessing, that I was sent by God. That I fell for a reason.

Some aliens are green, some blue, some have long ears,  some have abnormally increased body parts like three eyes,  five legs, two heads, but I look exactly like a human being. One of the reasons why my parents still refuse to call me an alien. The only difference is my eyes and my hair.

I have a naturally white hair, came to earth with white hair and when I say white I mean pure white and my eye changes color according to my emotions. That's why I wear a lens. I even wear glasses sometimes.

I have watched so many movies about aliens and in every single one of them, the aliens have powers. Like where the hell is mine... Yes! I don't have powers and No! I don't even know why.

Maybe my parents forgot to pick up my powers in the space ship. I'm an incomplete package!

As much as I hate it, It's my final year in high school. I'm one of those kids who try their best to not be noticed. It's hard, it's really hard... Why? Because I inherited the nut case gene.
