Chapter 5

Since yesterday was the day Dave was suppose to meet Seren's family and didn't, today would be the day.

Dave was nervous because of last night where Serenity mentioned she had a brother named Cordell. He really hoped that it wasn't the same Cordell. He even started to think was her dad OG that passed his business down to Dave

"Dave scoot the fuck over!" Serenity said pushing Dave off her. He had been like that for 30 minutes and was ready to smack him

"My bad girl damn, i was cold" He said as he snuggled under the cover, Serenity scoffed and got up

"Man where you going?"

"To take a piss Dave damn" Serenity said as she closed the door

Dave busted in the bathroom and started to brush his teeth

"You see me peeing in here why couldn't you wait !!" Serenity said as she flushed her business and looked at herself in the mirror

"Remember it's going to be at the place across the street at 3:30 Dave please don't be late" I nodded my head. It was now 12:44 and i had things to do before i headed over to her

"I got you sugar foot" I said kissing her forehead and getting into my truck before she left my house

"Open the door man." I was standing out here waiting for this mf to open the door

"What do you want Dave?" She said as i walked right past her into her house

"Shauna don't play with me girl"

Shauna is a girl that I mess with. She doesn't know about Serenity and i don't know what she gone do when i tell her, but i care about her ass so i'm telling her first hand

"Dave I have not heard from you in a week what do you mean don't play!" I pulled her in my lap to calm her down so i can talk

I started kissing her shoulder then her neck, she started to relax, "i am sorry baby, things have been really crazy lately"

She got up and straddled me looking at me waiting for me to talk, "Look Shauna i care about you but i messed up." Her eyes got big and she nodded her head

"You didn't give me nothing did you?"

"Bi- i mean girl no I didn't give you anything, i gave somebody else something though."

"Dave what the fuck you mean!!" She was now standing up over me waiting for me to go on with what i was trying to say

"Im saying i got somebody pregnant" Shrugging my shoulders and nodding my head

Shauna was grilling me the whole time and i knew she wanted to hit me, but she learned her lesson last time about putting her hands on me

"I hope you're kidding. You telling me i gotta live with the fact that you finna be playing daddy to a bitch baby you don't even know is yours?"

I don't know why everybody thinks i'm dumb, i know if the baby is mine or not

"First of all watch that bitch word when you talking bout my baby mama and secondly you don't have to live with anything you don't want baby." I was about to get up when she came behind me and smack the shit out my head

"Shauna, you put your hands on me again and imma have Serenity come beat that ass again"

She started crying as i was headed out before pulling me l, "What about us Dave? You just gonna throw it all away because of the girl?" I started to think about it and released my arm for her hold and walked out

I ran my hands down my face as I got in my car. Serenity and I not even together and she ruining hoes for me and everything

Since it was still early i went to the trap to smoke before I had to meet Serenity's mom and brother

"Why you over there looking mean?" Ace said and i shook my head blowing smoke out

"This baby man. I told Shauna today and she basically flipped. i ended it with her too"

"You keep fucking with these girls and they find out about Serenity that's your asssss" Pistol said shaking his head

"I'm telling you man. You just need to settle down with Seren. All these hoes not worth it, you gotta baby on the way and bitches are ruthless"

I clenched my jaw at the thought of someone hurting Serenity or my child. It always dwelled on me how my past would come to haunt me

"Well enough of that y'all heard about this new nigga on the block?" I was now alert and what Pistol said and looked at him crazy

"His name Wix. He about 6'4 , darkskin nigga with a fade and he built like a nba player" Ace said I nodded my head

"We will discuss this when i get back from meeting Serenity folks. I ain't gone lie she as talking bout this nigga Cordell and i know he gone wanna shoot the ones if he see it's me"

I never been pussy to fight, if Cordell wanna shoot the ones then i ain't gone fold

"No No Noooo!" I said on the side of the road as my tire went flat as i was going to the restaurant, i was bout 10 minutes from it and my phone was almost dead

"Seriously Bambi? you wanna pop now!" I said slamming my car door , my car name is Bambi

I looked back and forth and opened my trunk, I didn't wanna do it myself because i'm pregnant but if i have to change the tire myself

"You need a hand ma?" He said as i was getting my tire out my trunk

"Uh , yeah i'm kinda in a hurry too" he chuckled as he shook his head, he put his hazards on as he took his chains and stuff off and he got the other tire out the car

I watched as he changed the tire and i just looked so when he was done i went in my wallet and got out 50$

"Oh no ma you don't have to give me that" he said as he laughed

"What's your name?" I said, i didn't wanna be talking to a stranger but he did help me with my tire

"It's Wilson, but everybody call me Wix"

I smiled as he shook my hand, "Maybe we can hang out one day? I want to get to know you?" I giggled because my belly is out a little and he kept looking but i guess that did not stop him 

"Yes sure here is my number." I gave him my number and he nodded

"It was nice meeting you...."

"Serenity" As we smiled 

"Damn you late as well" Dave said sitting in his car

" I am sorry my phone died and my tire was flat so i had to change it"

"You ready to go in?" he took and deep breath and we walked in 

"Oh hey my gorgeous baby" My mom greeted me and kissed my cheek, Cordell hadn't looked up yet he was texting whoever 

"Hey mom. This is my baby's father Dave" The minute i said Dave my brothers head slowly shot up and him and Dave locked eyes 

"Oh hell Nah."
