The tension was so thick in the restaurant you could cut it with a knife. Cordell was staring Dave down and Serenity was just making conversation with her mom as if she didn't see it

"So Dave you wishing for a boy or girl?" Seren's mom said as he was eating and trying to ignore Cordell

"i actually want twins" Serenity choked and stared  at Dave

"nigga are you crazy!!!" She said as she wiped her mouth and slipped on some water

"Serenity watch your mouth" Her mom said and all she did was sit there

"Dave if we have twins you by yourself, cause i'm leaving"

"uh uh no i didn't make them alone!" Dave said laughing "I'm playing Seren i want a girl"

Cornell was still looking at Dave with this mean mug and Serenity started to get annoyed "Nell can i talk to you outside" he huffed and got up as i followed him

"What the fuck? why you keep staring Dave down?"

"Ren, i know him. He's the nigga pops passed the business down to."

Serenity stared at her brother and shook her head. She didn't know much about the trap but she definitely knew enough, although she didn't want to involve herself in that type a business she was already pregnant by a kingpin and her only option was to deal with it

"Look Cordnell i'm grown, i understand you wanna help me and look out because you my big brother but scowling at my baby daddy not changing anything okay? He is in our lives now. You just going to have to accept it."

I seen the look on his face as if he was disgusted, but i knew he was just looking out. It's a little too late now i'm already knocked up

"Fine but.. if anything i mean anything happens to you imma blow that nigga up." I laughed and shook my head because i knew he was serious

"Come on let's go back in."

The night when on, even though Nell was still salty he even made conversation with Dave, when i was done i was trying to get up

"Well that was interesting, i enjoyed being scowled by your brother" Dave said laughing while walking me outside

"Dave why didn't you tell me you knew him?" I said

"Wasn't something that needed to be mentioned." I rolled my eyes and walked to my car

"Are you coming back to my place?" He asked, i shook my head

"Uh no. We not together. I do have a doctors appointment tomorrow though" Dave shook his head and looked at me

"You telling me that because you want me to go?" I looked at him as if he had two heads

"Yes... you are the father?"

"I'm busy tomorrow Ren. What time is the appointment?"

Dave.

"I'm busy tomorrow Ren. What time is the appointment?"

She huffed and unlocked her car door, "never mind dave." she said as she got in her car and slammed the door leaving

I shook my head and headed to my car, Idk what i'm going to do with her

I tried calling her when i got in the car so i texted her

Dave: What's with not answering the phone? What did i say wrong Seren?

"Bitch then he told me he was busy tomorrow, like i'm so tired of his excuses!!"
