My eyes open all of sudden, having an intense red light to illuminate the whole room. I can't die!  No!

I have to fight. Fight the same way I did before, for me, for the ones I loved, for the ones I love, for all who will follow me as the next head of the Shann clan.

In front of me, a strange woman appears. It is completely red, just like my eyes. She has some kind of strange markings on her body, but they are also red, a much deeper shade. She's wearing a thin red dress that shows a lot of her pure white skin which is strangely reddish in some places. Her face is covered by some cloak but as she approaches me I can see better.

She puts her hands on my cheeks, they are so soft like is touching me

She puts her hands on my cheeks, they are so soft like is touching me.

"Fight, my fallen angel."she says but her voice is like nothing I've heard before.

It's almost like... Death.

They are  only simple words said without feelings. Some emotionless words and yet I understood exactly what she meant.

Then it disappears. It didn't evaporate, did not sparkle leaving a trail of glitter, nothing. It just disappeared into the thin air.

I open my eyes and focus on my wounds. They begin to close and heal, even though the rod is still piercing my stomach. My blood fights the poison and starts to mingle with it slowly, getting used to it's presence.

Massaro comes back with a black pot and some bags in his hands. He puts them all on the table and then turns to me. He looks at me straight in the eyes with a slightly angry face.

"You're doing better than I expected. I'm gonna put around you some glass walls and you'll sit in the case with some sustains that'll evaporate for three hours. They will not be as weak as the others.  I'll be in with you to make sure you will not die."he says and takes out the rod, surprised to see that my wound heals in no time.

"I will not die now."I have cocky smile on my face as he rolls his eyes in response

 "Tsk. We will see."

With a spell, he places some glass walls around us and the floor dissappears. I'm still tied up in chains as he begins to undress until he remained in a crutch then sits on a small slab glued to the glass wall.

I don't ask any questions, when he's done, he mutters another spell that turns the floor into a lava where various pots of poisons are boiling. He closes the space where we are, and, to my surprise, the first essences evaporate and transform into colorful steam.

"Control your breath. Even if it's hot try to breathe normally."he says, closing his eyes to concentrate on his breathing.

Even if it doesn't seem like this I think that  Massaro really cares about me. I was trying to thank him for his advice when the steam touches my foot and it is extremely hot. The toes and ankles begin to change colors in a shade of purple accompanied by terrible pain, but it didn't scare me as much as the other poison.
