He let his eyes roam your body for one last time. He knew he really screwed up this time.
You let out a sigh of frustration, while looking at the man in front of you.
Mick is being held in one of the cells on the Waverider after making two dangerous decisions. He looks at Y/N with sad eyes, not understanding why she didn't want to see this from his point of view.
"Why did you do it, Mick?" Y/N asks him.
"I did it for me. I want things to go my way, Y/N. But I would never let you get hurt."
Which was true. He grabbed her the minute the fight started to bring her to safety. But he knew he let down the Team, his friends. You. The Love of his life.
"Goodbye, Mick."
You turn your back to him and walk away, tears stinging in your eyes, as you leave behind yet another mistake.
