I think the most important thing about sex is to remember that this skeleton meat puppet your ghost of a soul is piloting is the only one you have.
From the moment you came into existence until the dust of your bones blow away, you have a body that is forever changing and working for you. No matter its shape, size, or color its a body to be proud of.
So my best piece of advice is to get tested and to do so regularly. And make sure any and all partners you have do so also.
Make a date of it, that's what I did. We'd go to the doctor in the morning and then had a lunch date when we were done.
Before I moved in with my soon-to-be wife we would go get tested every six months. Now we just get tested once a year.

Look into your local area and take advantage of free testing. Take a friend or a parent if you don't want to go alone. But if you have made the decision to become sexually active, please one way or the other find a way to get tested.
