"What Happened?" He asked. I proceeded to tell him what happened with Heather. As I was telling him I was scared how he would react. After I finished, he just sat there start at the floor; silent. "Sweet Pea, please say something." I begged. "What do I say Em? You slept with a girl last night we were on a break so there's nothing wrong with it." He said still looking at the floor. "But you're mad?" I asked. "Hell yeah I'm mad. I didn't want for your first time to be a drunken haze with someone that doesn't love you! I wanted to be with me! I wanted it to be passionate and full of love because you deserve the fucking world. That's why I'm mad Emily, because I won't be the one to show you that and that sucks." He finished. "Sweets..." I started. "No Emily, I know you are sorry. I'm not even really mad, more disappointed is all. Hell, I shouldn't have even suggested we had gone on this stupid break in the first place." "No. You don't get to blame my mistakes on yourself. I fucked up and that's on me so if you want to be done with this I understand." I said, tears coming down my face. "God no. Emily you messed up I know that and so do you but that's all it was. A mistake." He stopped. "It was a mistake right Em? You don't love her do you?" He asked his voice cracking. I had never hated myself more than I did at this moment. "No Sweets, I couldn't ever love anyone besides you." I said walking towards him and placing my hands on his cheeks. He smiled and kissed the palm of my hand as I hugged him. ————— [Present]
