NARNIA'S OCEAN WAS BLUER than Peter's eyes, Cam's owns and the sky above; even surprisingly bluer than the winter he spent day by day giving his heart to Peter. Cam supposed it had to be with the magic of the place (a magic he still couldn't understand, it had to be say), as for him, it was impossible for something to be a higher tone of blue when it came to Peter's eyes and his feelings towards the boy.

But before Cam decided to name the ocean as a blue Narnia —the blue part was obvious and Narnia because how else would he describe that fantastic shade of blue?—, before Susan patiently explained him about where they were and how they got there (Lucy was far too enthusiastic for Cam to understand a word from her; Edmund was too excited to talk about battles and lands Cam never learnt at school nor recognize, and as he forgot to mention how he actually got into one situation or another, Cam felt dizzy with the many names of swords and surreal species Edmund insisted he fought along; and Peter was extremely quiet, almost as if he was still on that grey morning in London, though he did smile in Cam's direction when he made a grimace during Lucy's and Edmund's attempts of speech), before he had screamed in surprise signal and denied again and again (and again and again and again) the existence of a place like Narnia, before everything was so twisted and the strangest things surrounded him—Cam believed the beach was solely close to a blue verditer, like the bird he once remembered to study during a field test.
