Aphmau's POV

About 1am I open my eyes to a loud crash followed by a bark and then Alina screaming. The thing throwing me off is how quickly she stops. I hear glass shatter and I shoot out of the bed and towards the door. I run to Alina's room to see the door open slightly, I carefully push it to see glass all over the floor. Pictures smashed to pieces. I look to her crib and walk over. She isn't there. I look around the room and see blood everywhere. I run along the hall and down the stairs I see Celestia with blood around her mouth, she attacked the person who came in. I run to the door and see a figure running down the street

"ALINA" I scream at the top of my lungs, not giving a fuck if I wake anyone up.

Aaron's POV

I race down the stairs at the sound of Aphmau's scream. I see her stood on the grass and I run over to her. She collapses in my arms as tears flood her eyes

"She's gone. Our child is gone" she says to me. A tear leaves my eye at her words. Her head leans on my chest and I rest mine on her head. I can't see anything from the tears building in my eyes when I hear a siren.

"Aaron" Katelyn says to me

"Yeah"

"Excuse me but who called us" an officer asks us

"That would be me" Katelyn says

"What happened"

"A man just ran down the road with a child"

"How is this a crime"

"The child was theirs" she says pointing to us

"He broke in" Aphmau lifts her head to face him

"He broke into my house, went up to my daughters room and ran off with her" she says as tears continue to fall

"Any idea who it was" all of us share a look but have the same reaction

"No idea who it could have been. But why would someone do this"

"Normally it's to fill an empty void without thinking of consequences or to bring someone serious pain and grief"

"Then it's fucking working. Find my daughter now" Aphmau says to him as she leans back into me

"I'll get the message out right away. And I'll call a vet while I'm at it to check your dog" Celestia then comes and nuzzles Aph and kisses her face.

"T-t-thank you" she stutters before her head rests on my shoulders and more tears stream down her face and her arms wrap around me.

"She'll be okay" I say to her

"How do you know"

"Because she's your daughter. She's gonna be fine"

"But you can't make any promises"

"Just trust me. I'm sure she'll be fine" I say and my head rests on hers again.
