geoff growled in frustration when he saw the ticket prices. that, combined with the taxi price, the insurance and hiring a car to awsten's house and his passport photo needed updating- he had no chance.
his phone buzzed with a message from awsten, his phone lighting up like his mood.
maybe he could do this?
his hands were shaking from adrenaline as he figured out his expenses.
he managed to secure extra shift at his job. it would create a dint in his wallet, but fuck- it would be worth it.

the first thing he saw was the price. a huge amount which would impact his living situation incredibly, but it would be worth it for geoff. he managed to secure paid overtime on his job on every shift, groaning at the thought of his co-workers.
one of them had already likened him to the devil, what with his heterochromia, yet it was a good paying job and he needed it.
