#46 - drifted (p2)

your perspective - a couple months later
there wasn't really anything too it. the years felt longer and we drifted even more. i couldn't say that i was happy and i couldn't say that i was sad.

the fact that we used to talk for hours into the early morning before Snape kicked us out and forced us to go to sleep bothered me. it bothered me that we would never have the same relationship again.

i walked downstairs with pansy. it was saturday morning and many people were sat in the common room hiding away from the cold. although it was freezing down here anyway.

pansy and i sat on one of the free couches and talked about the most random of things. it was peace and not gonna lie but it was the first time i've been happy in awhile.

though across the room i see his blond hair. his beautiful hair which i had to leave because we drifted. why we drifted? i honestly can't tell you why.

there she sat next to pansy in the couch laughing. i haven't seen her laugh like that in awhile. i truly miss her but i did ruin our relationship.

she looked happier without me and better off. must've been good then that i ended the friendship. she'd never know why i decided to ignore her the first time. but she's never find out anyway.

i'm sure i will forget eventually and she will too. she'd just be another classmate. another person that is walk by in the hall. i couldn't bare looking at her any longer and i went into my dorm.

one day... one day we'll speak again. one day when i'm ready and she is too. one day... but not today.
