Chapter 23

Zach's POV
*I looked out through the window of the van and saw Jack talking to Isla.*
*When he started to come towards the van I panicked and awkwardly looked down at the floor*
C: Do want me to move so you can sit with Jack?
Me: No, its fine
*He nodded and got on his phone again*
*Then at that moment Jack came in and sat on the other side of him*
*I looked down again but this time at my phone*
*Then when I had opened my legs a little so I could put arms on them and rest my head I felt a little pain*
*Not exactly pain but......*
*Sore.....*
*I was uh.....still a but sore.......*
And uhhhh, yeah
*I closed my legs up again and connected my headphones to my phone and listened to music with my head against the window instead.*
*The ride didn't even seem that long.*
*We had went straight to our green room when we got there*
*After settling we did sound check and had some spare time.*
*And you already what we did*
*Fortnite*
*We played Fortnite*
*Just like we always do*
*We stopped playing Fortnite after a while and just sat around the room on our phones. Waiting till it was our turn to go up on stage*
*I looked around at my friends wondering if I should tell them now*
*They already knew something was up because of my mom's post.*
Maybe you should tell them
Me: Guys
*Their heads shot up and looked at me*
Me: Um.......
*I looked at their faces wondering if I should say something*
Me: Well.......my mom said I was going through things........and believe me, Ik it was crazy to go to Texas just to tell them something.......but that was something that my parents needed to hear in person......
And I was so scared of what they would say.......I thought they wouldn't care for me anymore, but I was wrong......They said it was ok..........
And I think about it.......and it makes me happy to know my family was ok with it......but I get scared again thinking of what others think....and what you guys think........
*My voice was trembling with tears forming in my eyes*
*I looked at them again and saw worry on their faces*
I'm....g-gay.........
*I covered my face with my hands*
*And once again, I felt arms wrap around me*
Jo: Zach it's ok, you should have known we would have accepted you
C: We're family
D: We're brothers
Jo: Maybe not by blood
C: But by heart and in spirit
Jo: We're always gonna be here for you
*As they hugged me I noticed a pair of arms was missing*
*As I started to break away they called us up to the stage, and as we were going to the stage I got more hugs.*
*From Eben, Zack, Ava.*
*They all heard me and they all hugged me*
*After Syd hugged me again I went up on stage*
*And just before we started to perform....I got a hug from Jack too.....*
*Every girl started to scream, so you know what he did?*
*He made it into a Jachary moment*
*He accepts me......*
*I couldn't help but smile*
*For our part in the show I felt happy, more than I've been in a while*
*I came out and they accepted me*

*After we were done we had gone back to our green room getting pats on the back for a great job performing ig.*
*I was the one last one who was a bit behind the others*
*So as I was walking to get with the others I got pulled to the side by Syd*
*She had pulled me over and hugged me in the process*
Syd: I'm proud of you Zach🙂
*I smiled again and hugged her back*
Syd: So
*She let me go*
Syd: What are your intentions with my little brother?
*I playfully punched her in her arm*
Me: It's not like he likes me anyway....
Syd: Don't say that...you just....need time....I get how it seems like that cause he's "straight", but things change. Not everyone realizes certain things till later on, others don't accept themselves too. Like you. There's no sayin Jack's the same🤷🏻‍♀️
Me: He has a girlfriend
Syd: Its called bisexual Zach
*She messes my hair up but I didn't notice or care*
*As I said "He has a girlfriend" I couldn't help but think of what we did....*
*It was an accident...*
Syd: Another question, why are you....limping??
Me: Oh.........idk really........
Syd: Cant lie to me remember
Me: Im just....sore.......
Syd: From??.........
Me: Idk.......
Syd: Zachhhhhhh
*God I could feel my cheeks getting hot, good thing I have rosey cheeks as it is*
Syd: Omg!!! Zach did you-!
*Before she finished I quickly pushed her outside the exit we just so happen to be walking by*
Syd: OH MY GOD ZACHHHH! YOU DID!?
*I stayed quiet again*
Syd: WHAT THE FUCK!- Ummmm, now you need to explain yourself! Was it at that party you threw for Jonah before you came!?
*I stayed quiet again*
Syd: It was!? How was the girl!!!??
Me: Thats the thing......
*I can't believe I'm about to tell her this.....*
