(Y/N) walked down the familiar path that lead to the familiar big house that you always find yourself enjoying coming to. After work everyday, you tend to take this trip every single day, it became part of your daily routine.

You stepped up to the door and rap your knuckles against the door then stood, waiting patiently for someone to answer. After a few minutes the door opened and a smile grew on your face seeing the person in front of you. "(Y/N), please come in." Markus said with a warm tone, stepping to the side for you. You smile politely at him and then take his request and step into the beautiful home.

You turn and give a smile to Markus. "Hello, Markus. How are you?" The android smiled softly, something he did often around you. "I'm well, how about you?"

"I'm great." You tell him, looking around the foyer. "Where's Carl?" You ask, turning to your friend. "In his art studio as always. I'll lead you to him." Markus motions you to follow him and you do. He leads you through the spacious dinning/living room and brings you into the art studio. This was one of the reason you enjoyed coming here. You enjoyed Carl's studio. It was spacious, open and bright. Paintings and art supplies were everywhere and you loved how you felt when you came into this room. It felt inviting.

"(Y/N)," You stoped yourself from marveling at the room to look over to Carl who was turned from one of his many paints with brush in hand, a kind smile on his lips. "I would love to visit with you but at the moment I need to try and make some progress on this piece here, I'm sure in the mean time Markus can keep you company." Carl sent a wink at Markus who shuffled in his position next to you. Something changed in his demeanor but you couldn't tell what at the time. "Of course, I won't mind his company." You comment, giving Markus a sweet smile, noticing a soft smile forming on his lips.

You follow Markus back into the living room and he turns to you. "So, what would you like to do, (Y/N)?" You stand a moment glancing around the room. There was many choices to make. There were many shelves of books to be read, there was a piano in the corner, a tv and a chess table that sat off to the side of the large room. Your attention fixates on the piano in the corner.

"Would you mind showing me how to play?" You ask Markus as you walk over to the piano and rub your finger tips across the surface. Markus walks over and takes a seat, motioning you to sit next to him, silently answering your question. You smile a toothy grin and sit beside him.

Markus begins to show you different keys and explains everything there is to know about playing a piano. Soon, your playing. Nothing too amazing, you mess up ever other note or forget a key, but Markus was there to correct you and give you words of encouragement when this occurred.

As you were focused on the song you were trying to play with little mistakes, Markus took this time to study you. You were a very different kind of person. Other then Carl, your the only person that treated Markus equally and didn't talk down on him just because he was different. Everyday that you started visiting, Markus found himself not wanting you to leave. He started to actually feel feelings that is way out of his programming and he didn't understand these feelings. After a month of these strange feelings occurring, Markus asked Carl about it.

"Carl?" Markus asked as he was getting the old man ready for bed. "Yes Markus?" Markus debated with himself, asking himself if he really should ask Carl but he continued. "I don't understand how I'm feeling. Why I'm feeling." Carl sat up in his bed. "Is this about (Y/N)?" Markus stayed silent but slowly nodded. Carl chuckled, catching Markus off guard. "Take a seat Markus." Markus takes the demand and sits on the side of Carl's bed as he was ordered to.

"I'm not surprised that your asking, I could tell there was something going on." Carl cleared his throat as Markus just watched the man that he looked to as a father figure. "These feelings for (Y/N) are strong aren't they?" Markus slowly nods. "Describe it to me." The old man sit back and Markus runs his hands nervously on his pants. Carl picks up on the nervous tick. Markus takes a moment to try and come up with words to help to describe what he feels. "Well, I know I care about them. I enjoy their company and I enjoy talking with them. (Y/N) is nice to me and treats me like a person, not an Android."

"How does that make you feel?" Carl butts in, studying him. "It makes me feel," Markus trails off, trying to find the correct emotion. "Alive." Carl smiled. "You would do anything for them wouldn't you? Die if you had to?" Markus was almost shocked, it was like Carl could read his mind and was pulling out all him thoughts.

"You love them, Markus. You're in love with them."

Markus knew now that he does love this person, and that they meant everything to him. He couldn't help but smile as he looked a their beautiful face as they was oblivious to his starring. He just couldn't help but love them, they are kind, intelligent and compassionate. Markus leaned over and gently kisses their cheek, catching (Y/N) off guard.

You look over at Markus, noticing the almost dreamy look in his beautiful green eyes. You blushed and smiled softly at him.

The two of you sat there and enjoyed each other's company, Markus even began playing a song for you. You smiled and laid your head on his shoulder, the two of you enjoy the closeness.

Carl sat at the door way and smiled at the sight of the two of you, so in love.
