Chapter 3 : Paul McCartney

The Next Morning

Alfred gave me his clothes right after I cleaned myself and Julia prepaid us breakfast downstairs.

"Goodmorning you too !" Julia sweetly said.

Alfred kissed Julia and sat down on the chair.I joined him as well.

"So are you ready for work ?" Alf asked.

"Yes !" I said excitingly.

To be honest,I have never had a job before since I'm still a student but this will be a new thing for me.The idea of earning money on your own excites me.

Alfred and Julia smiled and we ate the breakfast she made.

At the Campus

"Wow you study here ?" I asked Alfred

"Yeah Julia and I" he said.

He then showed me the way to the place that I will be working.

The place was a store and it has many cassettes in it.

"Here it is ! You'll be working here" Alf said.

The place looked cool and a bit vintage.I could work with that.

"Okay sure so how do I start ?" I asked.

Alfred explained that all I have to do were selling the cassettes and watch out for thieves.

"Hey Lennon !" A tall boy suddenly greeted. He looked just like my age.

"Hey ?" I said but soon I forgot that he wasn't talking to me.

The boy frowned at me and looked at Alf.

"Um Alf who's this ?" The boy asked.

Alfred laughed and introduced me to him.

"This is my kid,John.He's claiming that I'm his father." Alfred joked.

I scratched the back of my neck,feeling embarrased of what happened just now.

"Uh hey sorry I'm John"

The boy smiled. "I'm Stuart but you can call me Stu"

He gave his hand and I shook it with mine.

Alfred soon walked out from the store, leaving Stu and I alone in the lonely store.

"So um how old are you ?" Stu suddenly asked.

"I'm 17 how about you ?"

"Oh wow I'm also 17.You don't go studying anywhere ?" Stu asked once more.

"Umm no I..quit" I lied.Well I do go studying but not in the past.

"Yeah same.School sucks. Anyways,how do you know Alf ?" He asked.

I could feel my heart beating fast.How am I going to say !?

"Well um it's a long story" I said.
